If you are looking to fly in the skies of Skate 4, there is a glitch that you can use to do so. With a combination of tricks and emotes, you can float, spin, and even “fly” around the map. It requires some timing and practice, but once you are aware of how to do it, it is simple. Below is a quick guide on how to fly in the game.
How to Fly Using a Glitch

Go into your Settings > General and check that Quick Gestures are enabled. It makes it simpler since you can now switch to emotes with a single tap. It’s time-saving as well, particularly since you’ll need to activate the emotes while in the air.
- Third Eye: It essentially makes you look like you’re spinning around like a helicopter and provides you with more range in the air.
- Clapping: This one makes you float, but does not provide much movement.
How to Start the Glitch

Here’s the simple trick:
- You must wipe out while airborne.
- When your character crashes, press the emote button fast.
- Your skater will begin bugging out flapping or spinning instead of dropping normally, depending on the emote used.
- You can re-emote every few seconds to maintain it. The harder you flap, the more distance you’ll cover.
Initially, the bug won’t allow you to board back out. However, there’s a small trick:
- While in the middle of the glitch, open your menu and swap to the Spread Eagle move.
- When you do this, you can re-enter emotes, and continue flying.
It doesn’t always work out you may wipe out again or lose control but with the right timing and angle, you can actually fly further. It reduces or even reduces fall damage.
