How to Find What the Lunar Goddess Really Wants – Where Winds Meet ‘Blind to the World’ Quest

The Blind to the World side quest takes you into a secret shrine beneath Crimson Cliff. In this quest, you’ll follow Uncle Tian, explore an underground cavern, and uncover the truth behind the Lunar Goddess and her unfulfilled vow. Your goal is to find the items connected to her past and figure out what she really wants so you can finally bring peace to her spirit.

How to Start the Blind to the World Quest

To start the Blind to the World side quest, head to Crimson Cliff. Look for the Crimson Cliff teleport stone near a lake just south of the local wayfarer point. You’ll find Uncle Tian standing by the water. Talk to him to kick off the quest and learn about the hidden shrine beneath the lake that’s dedicated to the Moon Goddess.

How to find what the lunar goddess really wants

Follow Uncle Tian down the corridor until you reach a huge underground cavern. Up ahead, you’ll see the Lunar Goddess sitting motionless on a raised cliff. Walk up to her to trigger a cutscene. When the cutscene finishes, check the altar beside her. You’ll find the Ice Jade Box, which holds her eyes. Once you’ve collected the Eye Box, talk to Uncle Tian and give it to him. He quickly realises that simply returning her eyes won’t calm her spirit.

Your next task is to uncover what the Lunar Goddess truly wants. Interact with her again and you’ll see an option to “Settle an old vow,” but you can’t complete it yet. The game hints that you should explore her home deeper.

Head down the staircase leading further into the cavern. You’ll find a small living area with a clothes rack and a table. On the table is the Small Blade. Pick it up. A little farther ahead, you’ll spot a single Moonlit Flower shining brighter than the others. Collect that too.

Once you have the Small Blade and Moonlit Flower, head back up to the Lunar Goddess. Interact with her again and choose to offer both items. A final cutscene plays where her old vow is finally resolved, bringing her story and the Blind to the World side quest to a close.
