The “Where Art Thou, My Love?” quest is one of those side quests that are very easy to miss yet can be challenging to finish off! In this guide, we will explain how to begin this quest and help you locate Rosa’s lover, navigate an enemy-filled area, and determine which path to take to successfully complete the quest.
How to Start the Quest
To start the quest, make your way to the Valley Pass and find the entrance leading into the passage. Rosa would be in the vicinity of the entrance, often located to the right of it. Even if you have visited this area before without seeing her, the quest can suddenly become available later after you’ve progressed further.
After Rosa arrives, talk to her to gain access to the quest. After accepting the quest, your objective will change and direct you to locate the missing love of Rosa. A quest marker will appear at the top of your screen to help guide you in completing this objective.
Reaching the Quest Location
As you arrive at your quest marker location you will find multiple enemies plus a heap of collectibles within the designated area. To ensure maximum safety when progressing through this area, it is recommended that all enemies within the area are taken out first before continuing onward in the quest.
Before progressing with the objective, make sure every climb rope in the Electric Nexus zone has been activated, including the one positioned near Valley Pass, as you’ll need access to them later.
Move to the staircase that you’ll find at the corner and you will find additional enemies and collectibles while climbing the stairs.
Finding the Way Up
Afterward, fast travel to the Temporary Shelter, interact with the Sub-PAC device, and initiate the broadcast. To carry the signal forward, set up a chain of Relay Towers, extending the connection step by step until it reaches the Electric Nexus. Finally, install the last Relay Tower near a rope and link it to the Nexus located on the elevated section above. You can then use the rope to ride all the way over to the top area.
Completing the Quest Objective
Once you reach the other side using the rope, a cutscene will trigger in which you find Rosa’s love, Romana. Once you interact with this character, you will receive an item from them.
The item given to you is a watch that must be returned to Rosa. Delivering this watch will finish the side quest, and you’ll receive 25 Oroberyls as a reward.

- You can choose to tell Rosa that Romana is dead or that he has left her. Your decision won’t affect the outcome because Rosa will head out to search for Romana either way, bringing the quest to an end.
