If you’re looking to add a cute and reliable Fairy-type Pokémon to your team in Pokémon Legends Z-A, Slurpuff is a great choice. It evolves from Swirlix and is known for its amazing sense of smell and cheerful personality. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to find Swirlix, how to get the Whipped Dream item, and the steps you need to evolve it into Slurpuff.
How to Evolve Swirlix into Slurpuff

In Pokémon Legends Z-A, Slurpuff can only be obtained by trading a Swirlix to another player using the Link Trade feature while it’s holding a Whipped Dream. You can get a Whipped Dream by finishing Side Mission 14, called “Slurpuff’s Café Visit.” This quest becomes available after you complete Main Mission 6 and can be found on Estival Avenue. Once you finish it, you’ll be rewarded with two Whipped Dreams enough to evolve two Swirlix!
Slurpuff is a Fairy-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Swirlix. It stands 2’7” tall and weighs 11 pounds. Known for its extraordinary sense of smell, Slurpuff can detect even the faintest scents, which it often puts to use helping pastry chefs perfect their creations.
It doesn’t appear in the wild. Slurpuff has well-rounded stats for a Fairy-type: 82 HP, 80 Attack, 96 Defense, 85 Special Attack, 75 Special Defense, and 72 Speed, totaling 480 combat points. Its combination of decent bulk and offensive capabilities makes it a versatile choice in battle.
Swirlix in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Swirlix is another Fairy-type Pokémon, slightly bigger than Spritzee at 1’4” and weighing around 7.7 pounds. Its fur is sweet and fluffy like cotton candy because it feeds only on sweets. This gives it a sticky, sugary charm that reflects its playful and whimsical nature.

In Pokémon Legends Z-A, Swirlix can be found in Bleu Sector 5 during the day. It usually perches on wooden boxes near the “5” on the map. If it doesn’t appear right away, you can advance time by resting on a bench outside a Pokécenter and check again the next day. Like Spritzee, it doesn’t appear in Wild Zones.
Swirlix has balanced but modest stats: 62 HP, 48 Attack, 66 Defense, 59 Special Attack, 57 Special Defense, and 49 Speed, totaling 341 combat points. Its stats make it more of a supportive Pokémon than a fast attacker, perfect for adding a bit of charm and fairy-type utility to your team.
