How To Evolve Onix Into Steelix
You can evolve an Onix into Steelix when you trade it to someone using a Metal Coat. You can get one Metal Coat by finishing Side Mission 101: Steadfast as Steel in the Bleu Sector 5 or Side Mission 114: A Feather from Skarmory in the Vert Sector 7.
You don’t need to do a side mission to get a Metal Coat; you can also purchase one. You need to visit Racine Construction in the southeast section of the map and speak to the salesperson inside the garage. It will cost you 4,980.
