How to Enter the Garden (Antil Location) – Grounded 2 Toxic Tangle Update

Are you looking for a way to travel to the Garden area in the Toxic Tangle update for Grounded 2? This guide will show you how to get there quickly by taking the War-Torn Antil route. There is no need to complete the story to visit this zone because it can be done quite early in the game, so read along!

Starting Point – Fire Pit Picnic Bench

Start your journey by going down on the picnic table located in the Fire Pit area. This is a location that allows you to access it as soon as you get your buggy (if you chose to use one). Although it isn’t necessary for accomplishing this path, having a buggy makes your travels much easier with all of the ants along the route.

Next, proceed towards the croquet bracket and you will come across a croquet mallet. You can destroy the mallet using a bomb so that it drops down just like the shovel, but this is entirely your choice; you can run straight past it.

Note: In case you plan to proceed, please know that there is a snake in this area and may strike if anyone travels near its head. Although climbing upon its back may be an option, there is no need to interact with the snake to reach the Garden area.

    Finding the War-Torn Antil

Proceed along the wall until you see huge playing cards, which will indicate you are headed in the proper direction. Continue along the wall until you find black and red queen playing cards. This indicates that you are at the War Torn Antil.

Avoid giant mosquitoes as you proceed forward, and once you have reached the western entrance, you will find the easiest and most accessible location to enter the area.

    Navigating the Antil

To access the War-Torn Antil, go through the tunnel leading down. At the bottom, when in the first chamber, go left. Continue following the path and take left turns as the tunnel curves.

This larger room has an exit point to go left again and move along the same route that led to your entrance. At this point, you may observe Black Soldier Ants attacking Red Soldier Ants. Move toward the roots and then climb up. If there’s a giant candy apple near them blocking your way, you can use the nearby screw instead.

Your first step is to leap onto the screw, traverse across it, and then follow the path around; be careful not to fall into the lower region of the area.

Continue through the tunnel until it leads you to another passageway; when you turn left, this will take you into a second hole. You will know you are in the right area when you can see glowing fungus growing on both sides of the opening. When you move forward into the second hole, you will see the ends of several carrot-like roots extending outward from the wall.

From there you will need to continue moving through the tunnel until there is an opening into a very large area.

    Entering the Garden Area

You will now enter the Garden Zone (referred to as the Veggie Garden) which gives you access to the Greenhouse and the Pumpkin Patch.

The tunnel leading to these areas is filled with ants including Soldier Ants that won’t easily let you pass without an Ant Buggy. Black Ants (which are Tier 3) are very aggressive once provoked and may attack even while you’re riding the buggy.
