To earn each badge, you need to perform different tasks, like escaping a spider’s web or climbing past the Roots, and it rewards you with outfits or hats. Badges are basically a way to show off the milestones you’ve hit in PEAK. They highlight the things you have done while exploring, surviving, or helping your team.
How to Earn the Forestry Badge

To get the Forestry Badge, you need to climb past the Roots. The first big challenge in this biome is the strong wind. When the gusts start blowing, make sure to grab onto something nearby, a tree, a fungus shelf, or even the mountain wall, so you don’t get swept away. You will also see pink clouds around. That’s toxic smoke, and touching it will poison you and drain your health really fast. So, avoid it completely.
Along your path, you will spot fungi zombies lying still on the ground. They will bite if you get too close. If one manages to bite you, heal up immediately to stop the infection from spreading. You will also run into dung beetles in the Roots Biome. They look harmless, but they can be surprisingly dangerous. They will charge straight at you, knocking you back and even sending you sliding down slopes. Try to dodge sideways or use trees as cover to block their attacks.
How to Earn the Tread Lightly Badge

To earn the Tread Lightly Badge, climb past the Roots without ever having more than 25% spores. Spores are a dangerous status effect that you will only run into in the Roots biome. You will spot small clouds of them floating around, and once they hit you, the affliction kicks in fast. As soon as you notice spores on you, use any healing item you have to clear them.
Fortified Milk is especially useful here. Drinking it gives you a temporary shield that blocks all kinds of damage and negative effects, and it automatically removes any bad afflictions you already have. An Antidote also works if you need a quick fix.
How to Earn the Web Security Badge

To earn the Web Security Badge, escape a spider’s web and survive. You will find spiders hiding up high in tree tops, branches, and stone ledges. If you get too close to their webs, the spider will drop down on you. When it grabs you, it will wrap you in webbing and try to pull you back up to its nest. You can break free by hitting the spacebar quickly to struggle out of the webs and escape.
How to Earn Undead Encounter Badge

To earn Undead Encounter Badge, cure yourself from a zombie bite. You will know you’ve been infected by a zombie bite when the Spores bar next to your stamina starts rising nonstop. If you don’t treat it, you will eventually turn into a zombie once your stamina runs out.
To cure a zombie bite in PEAK, eat either a Medicinal Root or a Mandrake. Both of these items show up pretty often in the ROOTS biome, usually lying on the ground. If you take too long to eat a Mandrake, it will scream. Once you eat a Medicinal Root or a Mandrake, your Spores bar will start dropping and stop increasing, which means the infection is cured.
How to Earn the Advanced Mycology Badge

To get the Advanced Mycology Badge, you need to eat all five types of Shroomberries in a single expedition. These berries grow on the ground and along the mountain paths in the Roots biome. There are five different Shroomberry types in PEAK, each with its own colour and pattern, so you can easily tell them apart. The challenge isn’t that they’re rare; it’s that their spawns are completely random, so sometimes you might just get unlucky. Keep exploring and gathering until you’ve found and eaten all five in one run.
How to Earn Disaster Response Badge

To earn the Disaster Response badge, you need to use the Rescue Claw to drag an unconscious teammate for 30 meters. The Rescue Claw can be found inside luggage bags, but since luggage spawns are random, you will probably need to check quite a few before you get one. Once you have the claw, use it to pull your downed friend toward you. This brings them close enough for you to heal them and continue your expedition together.
How to Earn Calcium Intake Badge

You can unlock this badge by blocking a total of 100 damage using Fortified Milk. You will usually find this milk inside luggage scattered around the map, so make sure to loot every bag you see. The more you explore, the better your chances of collecting a few bottles.
When you drink Fortified Milk, it creates a protective shield around you. This barrier absorbs incoming attacks and even protects you from environmental hazards, helping you stack up that 100 blocked damage quickly.
How to Earn Competitive Eating Badge

To Earn Competitive Eating Badge, you need to eat 3 hot dogs in 5 seconds or less. Hot dogs only appear at the campfires in each biome, and even then, there’s a chance you will get a marshmallow instead. This challenge is much easier if you’re playing with a team of three or four, since you can check more campfires at once. If you’re playing solo, you will probably need to carry hot dogs from one campfire to another until you have enough. Once you have gathered three hot dogs, eat all of them within five seconds to finish the challenge.
How to Earn the Applied Esoterica Badge

You can earn the Applied Esoterica badge by using the Book of Bones to bring a dead teammate back to life. This is a rare, mythical item that only appears in ancient luggage or as a reward from the ancient statue, but only if every player reaches the campfire alive. The book only works on teammates who are fully dead, not ones who have just fainted. And if you try to use it when nobody actually needs reviving, it will backfire and turn you into a skeleton.
How to Earn Mycoacrobatics Badge

To Earn Mycoacrobatics Badge, you need to launch yourself at least 40 meters into the air using a mushroom. The easiest method is to use a Bounce Fungus. To reach the 40m height, pick a spot that’s as high above the Bounce Fungus as possible. The higher your starting point is, the more height you will go when you land on the fungus and bounce off it.
How to Earn the Cryptogastronomy Badge

To get the Cyptogastromy Badge in PEAK, you need to find a Mandrake, cook it, and then eat it. You can look for Mandrakes in shrubs and small patches of dirt. They’re orange, grow in little clusters, and are normally used for healing. Mandrake has a creepy little face and starts screaming the moment you pull it out.
When the Mandrake screams, anyone nearby will get hit with the Drowsy status effect. To cook the Mandrake, the easiest and safest method is to use a Portable Stove. If you don’t have one, you will need to hurry and bring the Mandrake to a campfire before anything goes wrong.
