When you open your status menu, you’ll notice that illnesses come in three different levels. The game also tells you that if you don’t heal it quickly, it can weaken your abilities. Each level shows a different cure option, such as visiting a doctor, finding a healer, or meeting a miracle healer.

The Fastest Way to Heal

While you can absolutely follow the official cure steps, there’s a much quicker and simpler method. One of the cure descriptions tells you to “enter knee-deep water.” This is actually the easiest way to remove the illness without tracking down NPCs.

All you need to do is open your map, look for the nearest body of water, and head there. Walk into the water until it reaches about knee height. Just stand there for a short moment, and the illness will clear on its own.

The Evercare Clinic is located in the Qinghe Region, and this is where you can go if you want a proper medical treatment. When you arrive, talk to Yao Yaoyao and tell her you’re feeling unwell. She’ll let you choose which illness you want cured.

The clinic sits in the midwestern part of Qinghe, just north of Moonveil Mountain and south of Blissful Retreat, so it’s pretty easy to spot on the map. Just keep in mind that Yao Yaoyao’s help doesn’t come cheap. Her treatments cost around 10,000 coins, so be ready to spend a bit.
