If you’re trying to build a true LeBron James-type player in NBA 2K26, this template is a great place to start. LeBron is known for being strong, fast, and able to do everything on the court, from dunking and playmaking to shooting and locking down in the post. In this build, we’ve created a powerful 6’8″ forward with all-around abilities, good badge choices, and the right cap breaker upgrades to match LeBron’s playstyle.
How to Create LeBron James Template Build
Go for a real LeBron-style build, strong, fast, and versatile. The setup is 6’8″, 245 lbs, with a 6’9″ wingspan. Also chose a “firm” body type to match the powerful frame.
Give him an 80 driving layup, which unlocks Physical Finisher on silver. If you use your Max +1, you can increase that to gold. Don’t waste too many points chasing a higher layup just for it. The good news is, you can always change where you apply your Max +1 , so you’re not locked in.
Now for the driving dunk, use 5 cap breakers to push it to a 93, which gets you Gold Posterizer and Hall of Fame Aerial Wizard. For standing dunk, go with 80, which is enough to unlock key post-scoring takeovers. You can even use one cap breaker to increase it to 81 and unlock Silver Rise Up.
Post control is at 79, because real LeBron can post up. You will get Post Fade Phenom (Gold), Post Up Poet, and Post Powerhouse on silver. All of this lets you defend the defenders and score in the paint.
Shooting Setup
Give him an 80 mid-range, you can use 4 more cap breakers to take your three-point shot to 89. That unlocks Limitless Range (Silver), Set Shot Specialist (Gold), and Shifty Shooter (Silver). Add in your Max +1/+2 or specialise in shooting, and you can stack your badges.
Playmaking Attributes
Now, we’ve got a good dunking, great shooting, and strong post work. With 75 speed with the ball, you unlock Lightning Launch (Silver). Use your Max +1 to boost it to Gold. You can also specialise in playmaking to unlock even more. The ball handle starts at 81, but use 5 cap breakers to take it to 86.
That gives you Ankle Assassin (Silver) and, more importantly, Strong Handles (Gold), one of the best badges this year. You get Break Starter, Versatile Visionary, and Dimer on silver, which is great for a LeBron-type build.
Defense & Rebounding
Even though it’s not the strongest category on this build, it’s still very solid. You get bronze versions of Challenger, On-Ball, Menace, Pick Dodger, Immovable Enforcer, and Offball Pest.
Steal and chase-down are decent. You can get Interceptor and Chase Down Artist (Silver) with Paint Patroller. Give him 75 offensive rebounds, which is clutch if you’re working in the paint, and you will get Rebound Chaser (Bronze) too.
Physical Attributes
For physicals, this build still has 80 speed, 75 agility, and 79 strength, which is important for unlocking Strong Handles. You’ve also got 80 vertical, so you’re athletic enough.
Takeover Options
This build can get a Sharpshooter takeover if you boost your three-point to 94, you will be able to break ankles and hit deep shots like crazy. If you enjoy defending the defenders in the paint, you will like it. Other takeovers, like Clinic or Finesse focus on layups and mid-range.
Paint Surgeon also increases mid-range and close shots, pushing your mid-range to 87. Combine that with an 89 three-ball, and you’ve got a full offensive package. There’s also Offensive Artist, which boosts pass accuracy, mid-range, and three-point, perfect if you’re leaning more into the perimeter game.
Inside-Out Slashing Dunker
The build name says it all, Inside-Out Slashing Dunker. And the shades include LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. It doesn’t get great steal or passing lane defence, since we didn’t focus on that. It lacks rebounding feel, but with 75 offensive rebounds, it’s a little off.
