How To Climb in Fantasy Life i

In Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time, you will often run into ledges and walls that block your way. Climbing these obstacles is key to moving forward, but the game doesn’t always make it obvious which surfaces you can climb. That can feel a bit confusing at first.

Climbing up is important to reach rare loot or hidden treasure chests. So, always keep an eye out, as there could be something valuable waiting at the top. Also, climbing in these areas doesn’t use up your stamina or SP. So, you can explore and climb as much as you like without worrying about draining your energy.

Fortunately, once you know the trick, climbing is simple. Walk up to a wall or ledge and watch for the “Climb” prompt. To Climb On PlayStation, press X; on Xbox, on Switch, press A; on PC, hit the Spacebar. To climb up the ledge, run straight toward it and press the jump button.

Now, your character will grab on and start to climb. Just keep holding the button until you reach the top. If you change your mind and want to drop back down, press S on PC or push the left stick down on your controller.

However, not every high spot can be climbed the usual way. In some areas, the game won’t give you the option to climb, even if it looks like you should be able to. In those cases, you might need to find another path or a different method to reach those spots.
