How to Charge your Tauron Strike in Warframe

Tauron Strike is a powerful Operator ability in Warframe, but charging it can feel slow if you don’t know how to do it. Many players struggle with filling the meter and end up waiting too long to use it. In this guide, we’ll break down how Tauron Strike works and show you the easiest ways to charge it quickly.

Tauron Strike in Warframe

After completing The Old Peace quest and purchasing the school-specific Tektolyst Artefact from Marie, you will be able to use Tauron Strike as your Operator’s third ability. Once you have it unlocked, there will be five new Focus nodes associated with Tauron Strike. In order to open these nodes, you will have to spend Focus as well as one of the required items: Lyroic Bridge, Ren Hypercore, or Ascaris Prime.

How to charge your Tauron Strike

Normally, charging it is slow; you need around 200 kills to fill the bar. But with the right setup, you can charge it in 30 seconds to 1-2 minutes, especially in Survival missions. Tauron Strike releases a huge energy wave once it’s fully charged. You charge it by:

  • Killing enemies (this is the most reliable way)
  • Picking up Focus orbs (these spawn randomly)

Kills always count, so focus on fast enemy clearing.

First, complete The Old Piece quest. After that, buy the Tectalist Artefact from Marie in Sanctum Anatomica. This gives you +18% starting charge, which helps a lot. Equip Unairu Focus Lenses wherever possible. You can put them on:

  • Your Operator Arcanes
  • Your K-Drive

Use the K-Drive Lens Trick. Focusing the Lens on your K-Drive means a constant addition to your charge gain, even during the grinding of missions. It nicely stacks, and thus, the process becomes quicker. Perform Survival or Interception missions. These have constant enemy spawns. With the highest lenses and the artefact, you may fill Tauron Strike in approximately 30 seconds or during the regular runs, it may take you around 1-2 minutes.
