In Grow a Garden, pets are more than just cute companions, they can also help your crops grow stronger and more valuable. From the very start, you can buy Pet Eggs and raise a variety of creatures, including seasonal and rare ones. This guide will show you where to find the Pet Egg Shop, how to hatch pets, and ways to interact with them on your farm.
Pets in Grow a Garden
While Grow a Garden is all about growing your crops, adding a pet can bring both charm and practical benefits. Pets can give your plants helpful mutations, boosting their value, and make your garden feel more lively.
You can start buying Pet Eggs from the very beginning, no unlocks required. The shop offers a rotating selection of eggs, each containing a different pet, including some seasonal ones. It’s worth checking what’s currently available before picking your favorite.
The Pet Egg Shop is located at the far end of the map, opposite the Seed Shop. You can’t teleport there directly, you only have teleport options for your garden, the Seed Shop, or the selling area but it’s easy to spot once you explore that direction.
At any time, three Pet Eggs are on display outside the shop, and these refresh every 30 minutes. If you want, you can instantly refresh the eggs using Robux.

Interacting with Your Pet
Once a pet hatches, you can do a few things with it:
- Feeding: Each pet has a hunger bar that needs to be kept full to gain experience and grow older. Any fruits or vegetables from your garden work. Since pets get hungry even when you’re offline, it’s smart to feed them as soon as you log in.
- Picking Up: You can put your pet back into your inventory. This is useful if you want to gift it to someone or sell it at the Pet Egg Shop.
- Viewing Details: The “view” option shows your pet’s name, age, weight, hunger level, and any special traits that can help around your farm.
