How to Beat Cyber Wardrill in Revenge of the Savage Planet

The Cyber Wardrill is one of the toughest enemies you’ll face in Revenge of the Savage Planet. Before you can face it, you’ll need to complete specific objectives and unlock key upgrades. Here’s everything you need to know to locate and defeat the Cyber Wardrill.

How to Beat Cyber Wardrill

The Cyber Wardrill is a tougher, mutated version of the regular Wardrill, and it’s not an easy fight. To damage it, you’ll need to deal with two layers of shields. Start by throwing a Blight Bomb to break its green shield, which will then reveal a red one use Bombegranate bombs to break through that. You’ll have to repeat this a few times. The Cyber Wardrill moves fast, hits hard, and has a laser constantly firing at you. While you’re throwing bombs, keep your eyes on the Wardrill it will charge straight at you every time.

On top of that, there’s a drone following you around and dealing damage until you destroy it, so don’t stand still. Each time you break both shields, a swarm of Cyber Tatushkeys will rush in and try to explode near you. Use Bombegranates to deal with them, and rely on your hook-shot and jumping to stay mobile. If you’ve unlocked EKO’s Drone Tether upgrade, it can make things a lot easier by letting you swing around the arena. Defeating the Cyber Wardrill will unlock the “Cyber Corruption” achievement.

How to Find Cyber Wardrill

You’ll find the Cyber Wardill in Room 3 of the Shrine of Challenge, but you won’t be able to get inside until you’ve collected all of EKO’s drone upgrades and finished the “Fine, I’ll Do It” quest. That quest is pretty straightforward, you just need to go to three marked spots on the Quasadron IX map and use EKO to activate some lasers. Once that’s done, the red forcefield blocking the last Scrappi teleporter will disappear, giving you access to the shrine.

In Room 1, grab a Blight Bomb from the nearby plant and toss it at the switch to clean it off. Then you can shoot the switch to open the door. In Room 2, Scrappi will throw a bunch of cyber enemies at you, many of them protected by green goo. Just use Blight Bombs to break their shields, then take them down.
