To complete the Hoppip event in Pokémon Friends, you need to collect Cotton Spores and buy the habitat items. You can bring all three members of the Hoppip family, Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to your town. Each Pokémon prefers a different habitat, so knowing what to build first will help you finish the event and avoid wasting spores. In this guide, we will show you Hoppip, Skiploom and Jumpluff locations for the Hoppip Event in Pokémon Pokopia.
Hoppip Event in Pokémon Pokopia

During the Hoppip event in Pokémon Pokopia, you can collect Cotton Spores, unlock special decorations, and attract Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to your town. At the time of this event, it runs from March 10 to March 25, 2026. To start, you need to have at least one built Pokémon Centre in your town.
Once the event is active, a notification will appear saying that a Pokémon is the talk of the town. After that, go to your Pokémon Centre, and you will find Hoppip wandering outside. Talk to Hoppip, and it will tell you that it has lost its Cotton Spores. This also adds Hoppip to the special event section of your Pokédex.
After speaking with it, Hoppip moves inside the Pokémon Centre and opens a small event shop where you can trade Cotton Spores for special items.
How to Get Cotton Spores

Cotton Spores are very easy to collect. You can find them on Dream Islands. Make sure you check everywhere because spores are not only outside but also hidden inside caves. Some shop items are only decorations, while others are important because they help create habitats for new Pokémon. To complete the event properly, first buy the habitat items needed for Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff.
Best Habitat for Hoppip
Hoppip likes the Yellow Carpet habitat the most. To make it, buy Dandel Seeds. This costs 5 Cotton Spores in total. Plant the seeds on a watered patch. Once finished, assign the habitat to Hoppip so it has a permanent home.
Best Habitat for Skiploom
Skiploom can appear in the Yellow Carpet habitat. Its best habitat is Field Trip Friends. You need a Flower Backpack, a Pop Water Bottle and a Lunchbox. This costs 15 Cotton Spores. This setup gives Skiploom a much better chance to appear.
Best Habitat for Jumpluff
Jumpluff’s favourite habitat is Dandelion Lunchtime. You need 1 Dandel Seed, Lunchbox, Flower Cushion and Flowery Table Setting. This costs 25 Cotton Spores. Jumpluff is rare, so it may take a few in-game days before it shows up.
