Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event is back, and it brings with it this year the legendary Mystery Inc. gang to the island. Besides Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, and Fred, you’ll get new Scooby-Doo Found quests. Among those missions is helping Daphne get her stolen bags back.
This guide will show you exactly how to do her quest efficiently and quickly.
Starting Daphne’s Quest
To start the quest:
- Find Daphne at Viney Shafts.
- Speak with her and click the “Need Help” icon on the interaction wheel.
- Daphne will inform you that her suitcase has been stolen and request that you locate it.
(Note: You only have four minutes to complete the quest. If you fail to do so within that time, the quest will be set back, and you’ll need to try again. Time management is important!)
Question The Mothman
The stolen luggage will bring you to The Mothman, found southwest of Viney Shafts. You shall have a quest marker on your map to guide you there.
Location Details:
- By a campfire, at the top of a cliff in the mountain.
- Approach to question him to start the interrogation.
How to Complete the Interrogation:
- Head towards Daphne’s luggage — you may leave it behind.
- You do not need to pick it up.
- Talk to The Mothman while in close proximity to the luggage.
- Within seconds, the quest will register as complete.
Story Insight:
The Mothman admits he stole the luggage to get noticed by the Scooby-Doo gang. He hoped to join them in solving mysteries rather than being the mystery himself. After the dialogue, you’ll receive 10,000 XP as your reward.
Tips for Completing the Quest Smoothly
- Time Management: Begin close to Viney Shafts in order to save travel time.
- Don’t Take the Luggage Anywhere: You don’t need to take it anywhere; close is good enough.
- Utilise the Map Marker: The quest marker makes it easy for you to find The Mothman in a flash.
