The Headucation quest in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is a short training mission that teaches you how to perform silent takedowns. After finishing the earlier quests with Kinu and Kane, they call you back for one more lesson, this time focusing on quietly knocking out enemies without being detected. In this guide, we’ll walk you through exactly how to start the quest and what to do step by step so you can unlock the Takedown ability and continue your journey.
How to Start the Headucation Quest
Once you’ve collected all the glyphs, head back to the Glyph Door in the Wakasa region and speak with Kinu and Kane again after completing the “Teach a Dog New Kicks” quest. This will start off the Headucation quest.
This little “training” mission is all about learning how to take out enemies quietly in the game. You will be playing as Yasuke here, and this is where you unlock the Takedown ability for him. Yasuke now needs to show them how a proper silent takedown works. Just sneak up behind Kinu and press the interact button (E on PC or Y on Xbox) to choke him out quietly.
For the next part of the training, crouch and move forward until you can hide in the nearby bushes. Watch Kane’s patrol pattern, and when he walks past you from left to right, slip out behind him and perform another silent takedown on Kane. After you finish both steps, Yasuke permanently unlocks the Takedown ability, and Kinu and Kane reward you with more riddle scrolls to help you hunt down additional glyphs in the game.
