Looking to grow every berry in Grow a Garden? While berries are only a small part of the crop selection, they’re highly profitable and come with unique perks, like being replanted by deer pets. From common strawberries to ultra-rare Celestiberries, each berry has its own challenges for acquisition. This guide will walk you through every berry plant in the game and show exactly how to get them.
What Are Berry Plants?
In Grow a Garden, players have access to a massive variety of crops, but berry plants make up only a tiny portion of that list. Even though they aren’t the centerpiece of farming, they’re still worth collecting since most of them can bring in solid profits. Altogether, there are nine different berry plants, and while some are easy to snag, others are rare, expensive, or locked behind special conditions.
What makes berries especially unique is their link to deer pets. Regular deer have a slim 3% chance of automatically replanting a berry crop after harvest, while spotted deer raise that chance to 5%. This little bonus means berry plants are a smart long-term investment—they keep producing useful crops that you can either sell for steady income or save for special events like the Summer Harvest.
Why Berries Matter
The real challenge is getting your hands on all of them. While strawberries are cheap and readily available from the very beginning, many of the other berry plants demand luck, rare seeds, or mountains of Sheckles. One berry is even completely out of reach for normal players unless granted by an admin. If you’re planning to expand into berry farming, here’s a breakdown of every berry plant you can currently grow in the game and how to get them.
All Berry Plants and How to Get Them

Berry | How to Get |
Celestiberry | Among the rarest of the rare, Celestiberries only appear in the Twilight Shop during the Night Event. Picking one up will set you back a massive 15 million Sheckles. |
Elder Strawberry | The Elder Strawberry is incredibly hard to obtain. There’s just a 1 in 405 chance of it being stocked in the Seed Shop, and when it does appear, it costs 70 million Sheckles. The alternative is lucking out with a Silver Prismatic Seed Pack. |
Blueberry | Blueberries are a straightforward purchase. You’ll find the seeds in the Seed Shop for 400 Sheckles, making them one of the more accessible options for early growers. |
Raspberry | Raspberries are fairly common compared to the others. They have a 14% chance of dropping from a Normal Seed Pack, 40% from a Basic Pack, and 40% from Rainbow Sacks. |
Cranberry | Cranberries can’t be bought directly—they’re earned through chance. You have about a 30% shot in a Basic Seed Pack, a 45% shot in a Premium Seed Pack, and another 30% if you open a Rainbow Sack. |
Grape | Grapes are marked as divine rarity. They have a 1 in 100 chance of popping up in the Seed Shop and cost 850,000 Sheckles when they’re available. |
Lingonberry | Lingonberries need to be crafted rather than bought outright. You’ll need 450,000 Sheckles, three Blueberry Seeds, and one Horsetail Crop to put one together. |
White Mulberry | White Mulberries aren’t something you can farm through normal gameplay. They’re restricted to players with admin or testing access, meaning the only way to get one is if an admin gifts it. |
Strawberry | Strawberries are the simplest and cheapest berry to grow. Their seeds are always in stock at the Seed Shop for just 50 Sheckles, making them the first berry most players will cultivate. |
