In Grounded 2, one of your big goals is to find and power up the Network Center, a secret base hidden inside a giant statue on the east side of the map. Getting there isn’t easy, you will need to choose the right path, fight tough enemies, and solve some tricky puzzles. This guide will help you step by step, showing you how to reach the statue, get inside the Network Center, and turn the power back on.
How To Reach The Network Center
Make your way to the Statue on the east side of the world map. Once you are there, you have got two ways to reach the base: either take the Northern Ascent or Southern Ascent route, both of which lead into a Cement Tube.
Inside the Cement Tube, head toward the center and take the path that leads to a locked door. Look to your left and you will spot some dead roots. Smash through them with your buggy and follow the tunnel until you reach the Rock Maze. Once inside, turn left and follow the path north. You will soon find yourself at a big open area at the base of the statue. Here, you see a red ball and a green hose
Now, follow the green hose south, and you will find a boss fight waiting for you, Captain Nitro. Take him down to unlock the next path forward.
Facing Captain Nitro and Unlocking the Path
After beating Captain Nitro, you will find more dead roots nearby. Smash through them and follow the branches. Look down, there’s a branch below that leads forward.
Keep following that path, breaking dead roots and dealing with ORC Weaver spiders along the way. Eventually, you will reach an area with roses and a red ribbon. Here you will find another boss: Lieutenant Blade. Defeat him to clear the path ahead.
Once he’s down, stay on your buggy and follow the red ribbon until you are back in the bush area. From here, keep climbing upwards using the branches, fighting off any ORC Weavers and Mosquitoes that get in your way. You will eventually reach a maple leaf that lets you jump onto the statue.
Enter the Network Center
Run around the statue’s edge until you spot a white fuse box. Hop on it to climb up another level. From there, head toward the center of the statue and climb the ladder, this will take you straight into the Network Center.
Infiltrating the Network Center
Use the Pneumatic Transit tube to ride up from B1 to Level 01. You will know you are in the right spot when a mysterious figure claiming to have BURG.L’s head hacks your system.
From the main room, head through the door to the left of the desk. Keep moving through the rooms until you find an ORC Weevil. Lure it into blowing up before you step inside. In the final room, you will see two doors, one goes to another transit tube, and the other leads to a chest. Make sure to open the chest, it holds 3 Garden Snail Fragments.
Take the transit tube to Level 02, which is more of an office area. Deal with Weevils, Larvae, and Red Soldier Ants here as you make your way to the next tube that goes to Level 03.
Here, you will face the Cockroach Queen boss: General Berserker. Be ready, she’s got a second phase after you drain her first health bar. Once you win, head up to the top level of this circular room and find a human corpse beside a locked door. Loot it to get the Network Center Access Pass.
Restoring Power in the Network Center
Head to the room where you fought General Berserker. Then head up the blue ramp. The next area is more straightforward, deal with the Cockroach Nymphs, then head to the first switch. You will notice it needs power first.
Look next to the switch and you will find a hole, drop down into the vents and follow the blue wire. You will see 3 damaged sections of wire sparking, patch them up to restore power.
Now head towards the pink side for the second switch. Since the normal path to the second switch is blocked, look around for a broken wall panel, crawl through it to reach the other side. Flip the second switch.
After turning on both the switches, now go up the ramp with the green and pink arrows and enter the door at the top. Fight off ORC Cockroaches and Cockroach Nymphs, then head to the green side of the room and flip the third switch.
Once all three are fixed, you are good to go. Head back up and flip that final switch to continue your adventure.
