In Grounded 2, some enemies and areas can be really dangerous because of heat or freezing effects. That’s why crafting Chill and Sizzle Resistant Armour is super helpful. It protects you from tough enemies that can freeze you in place, like the final boss. To make this armour, you will need to collect a few important materials. How To Craft Chill & Sizzle Resistant Armor
Craft Chill & Sizzle Resistant Armor, both are useful, especially the Sizzle Resistant Armor, since many tough enemies, including the final boss, can inflict the Stasis effect, making it a real challenge if you are not prepared. To Craft Chill & Sizzle Resistant armour, you will need Bee Fuzz, Bombardier Parts, Lingonberry Leather, Gnat Fuzz, Silk Rope, Spicy Shards, Milkweed Tufts and Acid Glands. Below is the location of every item you need.
Bee fuzz location
Bee Fuzz is a material you get by collecting it from Bees after you defeat them. It’s used in a few crafting recipes, so make sure to loot it whenever you take down a Bee.
Bombardier parts
In Grounded 2, you can get Boiling Parts by taking down Bombardier Beetles. These medium-sized bugs have green backs and aren’t too hard to deal with, but watch out they spit acid that causes a sizzling effect. A good place to find a couple of them is near the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar.
Lingonberry leather
To craft Lingonberry Leather in Grounded 2, you will first need to break open Lingonberries to collect Lingonberry Chunks. Once you have one, scan it to unlock the recipe for Lingonberry Leather. After that, you will be able to craft it using the chunks you collect.
Gnat fuzz
Gnat Fuzz comes from Gnats small black flying bugs with red eyes and bits of white fur. You will find them floating around near the first Ranger Outpost. A good spot is just above the outpost, before you reach the cave that leads to the back entrance. You can also find more Gnats northeast of the outpost, up a small hill.
Silk rope
To craft Silk Rope, you will first need to build a Spinning Wheel. You can unlock the Spinning Wheel recipe by analyzing Web Fiber at the Resource Analyzer. You can get Web Fiber by defeating any type of spider, even the smaller ones like Spiderlings, or by breaking open Web Sacs.
Web Fiber is a resource you get by collecting it from spiders like Diving Bell Spiders, Orb Weavers, Orb Weaver Jrs, Spiderlings, Black Widowlings, and even the Hedge Broodmother. You can also gather it by breaking open Web Sacs or cutting through Spider Webs.
To build a Spinning Wheel, you will need 2 Acorn Tops, 4 Clay, 4 Red Ant Parts, 3 Sap, and 4 Crude Rope. Once you have got the Spinning Wheel set up, you can start making Silk Rope. Each Silk Rope costs 1 Web Fiber to make, and you can queue up to 5 at a time. Keep in mind that each one takes 1 hour and 12 minutes to finish.
Spicy Shards
Spicy Shards are a resource you get by breaking apart Spicy Candy. You can also sometimes find them as loot when digging up Buried Treasure, so keep an eye out while exploring.
Milkweed tufts
If you are looking for Milkweed Tufts in Grounded 2, you will find them just south of the Picnic Table area, hanging from the tall plants. But before you head out, make sure you are prepared. You will need a Tier 2 Omni-Axe and a bow with some arrows to make the trip worth it.
Acid glands
You can get Acid Glands by defeating certain bugs like Larvae, Infected Larvae, Ladybird Larvae, Red Soldier Ants, and Termite Workers. Once you’ve taken them down, just loot their bodies to collect the glands.
