Grind the Molten Bucket in Foundry – Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4

In the Foundry level of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, one of the trickier goals is to grind the molten bucket. It takes a bit of timing and precision, but once you know what to look for, it becomes much easier to pull off. In this guide, we’ll walk you through where to go, what to watch for, and some helpful tips to make sure you land the grind and complete the challenge without too much frustration.

Grind the molten bucket

Start by skating down the ramp at the beginning of your run. After you pass the exploding tanks on the left, look for a small platform next to a lava pit, that’s where the Molten Bucket shows up. To reach it, you’ll need more air than usual. Use the half-pipes nearby to build up your Special meter, which gives you a higher jump. Once the bucket swings over to pour, hit the small ramp by the lava and jump up to grind along the side of the bucket.

Grind the molten bucket Tips

First, wait for the molten bucket to start pouring into the tub that’s your cue. Once it’s pouring, grind on either of the two rails connected to the handles on each side of the tub. That’s how you trigger the goal.

Now, a quick tip to make it easier: try doing a trick off the quarter pipe just above the bucket, then head from the right side over to the left. This gives you a better angle to hit either of the rails. I noticed that when the bucket wasn’t pouring, I could get air just fine but once it started, it was harder to jump up properly. It’s like the little ramp near the bucket doesn’t give you enough lift.

If you’re struggling to get the grind, you can also use the quarter-pipe and press R2 (or your platform’s equivalent) to level yourself mid-air. Just keep in mind you might need higher stats to pull it off cleanly.
