If you are working your way through dark caves or dim areas in Where Winds Meet, the Glow of Fireflies skill can greatly help. It is a small but really handy skill that helps you see clearly in caves, at night, and in hidden tunnels. In this guide, we will show you exactly how to unlock the Glow of Fireflies skill, where to find the fireflies you need, and how the ability works once you have it.
How to Get the Glow of Fireflies Skill

To unlock the Glow of Fireflies skill, you have to collect five fireflies. The fastest and easiest way to collect them is to teleport to the Crimson Cliff fast-travel point and walk a little northwest. Behind the cat, you will see some flowers with fireflies floating around them. Just walk up to the glowing flowers and collect the fireflies using the interact button.
Each firefly fills part of your proficiency bar, and picking up five of them will unlock the Glow of Fireflies skill right away. Just pick up all the fireflies using the R2 button. Keep picking up the fireflies until your proficiency bar fills up. Once it is full, the Glow of Fireflies skill will unlock. This skill makes fireflies circle around you, giving you light so you can see better in dark places like caves.
How to Use Glow of Fireflies Skill
Glow of Fireflies skill creates a circle of glowing fireflies around you, giving off soft light for 30 seconds so you can see better in dark places. It is used to brighten dark caves, tunnels, or dimly lit buildings. The Glow of Fireflies skill does not have any extra ranks or tier upgrades. It stays the same once you unlock it.
