Gestral Gambler’s Riddle in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

If you’re exploring Gestral Village in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you will come across the Gestral Gambler. He presents you with a tricky riddle and if you answer it right you can earn a unique reward. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to find him, what he asks, and how to solve his riddle to get the Roulette Pictos.

Gestral Gambler’s Riddle Location

To find the Gestral Gambler, start at the entrance of Gestral Village. Head toward the Chief’s House. From the Chief House, head to the right and follow the path. You’ll come across an archway, go through it and keep walking. Keep walking until you see a sign that reads, “An unbearable smell lurks away.” Just keep following the trail past it. Eventually, you’ll run into a Gestral. Then, look straight ahead, you’ll see a building lit up with neon lights, decorated with cards and dice. That’s the Casino.

Gestral Gambler’s Riddle Answer

When you talk to the Gestral Gambler, he will ask if you enjoy gambling. If you say “Yes,” he will ask you another question: “Imagine I have a 50% chance of doing full damage every time I attack. Over time, do you think I’ll deal more, less, or the same amount of damage?”

You will get four choices:

  1. Same chance
  2. Lower chance
  3. Higher chance
  4. I don’t care

The correct answer is “I don’t care.” If you get the wrong answer, the Gestral Gambler will let you try again. Once you answer his question correctly, he will reward you with the Roulette Pictos.
