Can’t find the generator in RoadCraft? This guide walks you through how to get to the Abandoned Facility, break in, get through the hazardous ramps, and finally seize the generator. Follow these instructions smoothly to complete the task and acquire your reward!
Mission Start: Getting to the Abandoned Facility
Your first primary objective should be getting to the Abandoned Facility, an ancient site to the southeast of the Forward Base. Nothing to worry about–there is a game marker set for you to follow.
Travel Tip:
Stay on the road that connects the Forward Base to the facility. It’s not all smooth, probably with some muddy patches and a bend here and there. But on the whole, it should be pretty straightforward. Because you are still in the early stages, it might be beneficial for you to grab your Scout vehicle and get there quickly.
Finding a Way In
Enter from the southwest side of the building. You will see a raised ramp—push it out to create your point of entry.
As you approach, you will be prompted with a tutorial message. It’s time to employ your Object Scanner—but scan upwards, not around.
Spot the Target: Top-Floor Container
From the exterior, look around the building to find a container on the top floor. When you’ve spotted it, proceed toward the western wall of the building. Follow the dirt track from there until you come across a ramp. In front of you, there’ll be a wooden plank taped black and yellow—drive straight through to access the interior.
Moving Through the Interior
As you ascend the ramp:
- You’ll have two routes on your left.
- One takes you to an upper ramp with a second wooden board.
- The second one also takes you to another board.
Begin by gently pushing the first ramp to move its position—but don’t ride over it yet. Now go back down and turn the second wooden board over to create a makeshift ramp bridge. This bridge provides you with a clear pathway to the generator.
Power It Up and Wrap It Up
Hook the generator onto the rear of your vehicle with the winch. Take a glance to your left before you leave—there’s still one wooden board blocking a ramp leading downwards. Push past it to make your way down into the quest zone within the facility.
Drive the generator into the highlighted quest circle to finish the mission. You’ll receive 1,200 XP and 2,520 cash after you do.
