Forensic Horology Quest Guide – Destiny 2

Forensic Horology is a very short and straightforward quest in Destiny 2 on Kepler. This walkthrough will guide you through everything from starting at the Assimilated Easement until concluding your scan after a brief conversation with Ikora. There really isn’t much combat in this quest; plus, the objectives are pretty straightforward, so one can finish it in just a couple of minutes and go through the storyline quickly.

Starting the Forensic Horology  Quest

To start the Forensic Horology  quest, head over to Assimilated Easement. As soon as you arrive, just proceed forward. Keep your eyes open for a corner showing fluctuations along the way. Ikora will then comment regarding what you sent over, saying that what the Guardian sees might look incomplete, but that is just the thread that was needed. This leads you to a slightly updated area that becomes your next step.

Navigating the Area

Continue navigating through the area. You don’t have to worry much about enemies discovering your presence in this section as the enemies here are easy to tackle. You need to meet Ikora because she’s found some strange relic. You can use a Matterspark to track the remaining signals if you want. There’s no need to teleport back at any point, as the next objective is already close by. Just be ready for quite a bit of running between objectives.

Eventually, you’ll need to grab a dark matter and use it to open a path in Stellar Sink. After this, go left, there’s no need to use Matterspark here, just keep heading up and to the left. Along the way, you’ll encounter Ikora. She mentions the Vex and how they’re manipulating time around you. Whether they caused the situation or were simply drawn to it, their presence is clear and significant.

Final Steps and Completion

Once Ikora finishes speaking, your next step is to locate the scan site. Fortunately, you don’t need to travel far, it’s right there in the same area. Clear out any nearby enemies first so they don’t interfere with the process. After a short wait and a call from Ikora, the quest wraps up.

Forensic Horology  can be completed in a few minutes and is a quick and straightforward quest that fits neatly into your progress on Kepler.
