Fence Locations to Sell Stolen Items in Oblivion Remastered

If you have got a bunch of stolen items in Oblivion Remastered and are not sure what to do with them. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to sell stolen items, where to find the fences who will take them from you, and even a few tricks to clean your loot and sell it like it’s new.

How to sell stolen items in Oblivion Remastered

If you’ve got stolen items to sell, you’ll want to find Manheim Maulhand. He’s a special merchant who buys stolen items. You can find him at the Inn of Ill Omen, just outside Bravil. But for even more options, consider joining the Thieves Guild. Once you’re in, you’ll get access to special missions and meet Ongar the World-Weary, your first fence, who’ll buy your stolen goods. As you rise through the guild’s ranks, more fences will become available, giving you even more places to sell your loot.

If you’ve stolen a plain, unenchanted weapon or piece of armor, you can actually enchant it yourself to remove the stolen status, then you’re free to sell it like any normal item. And if you’ve stolen some alchemy ingredients or food, just mix them into a potion. Once they’re crafted, no merchant will be able to tell that they came from stolen goods.

To find out where you can sell your stolen goods, go talk to Armand Christophe. You’ll find him at midnight in the Garden of Dareloth on the Imperial City Waterfront. Start a conversation with him and choose “About the Thieves Guild,” then select “Where can I find a fence?” He’ll give you a list of all the fences you can use, not just Manheim Maulhand. Just click on a name, and he’ll tell you where to find them. Below is the list of all the fences.

  • Ongar the World-Weary at Olav’s Tap & Tack in Bruma
    • Thieves Guild Rank: Pickpocket
  • Dar Jee in Leyawiin
    • Thieves Guild Rank: Bandit
  • Luciana Galena in Bravil
    • Thieves Guild Rank: Catburglar
  • Orrin in Anvil
    • Thieves Guild Rank: Shadowfoot
  • Fathis Ules in the Imperial City or Chorrol
    • Thieves Guild Rank: Master Thief

The easiest way to get rid of stolen items is by finding a fence. These are special merchants who are part of the Thieves Guild and are willing to buy your stolen goods.
