Expedition 33: The Carousel Guide – Music Record

In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, The Carousel is an area frozen in ice. This guide will walk you through where to find the Le Grand Café de Lumière music record, how to restore the Carousel, and where to find all other collectibles.

How to Find the Carousel Music Record

Once you leave Monoco’s Station from the north side, you’ll find yourself at The Carousel. Head up the path to the left, just behind the group of enemies. As you enter the Carousel area, you’ll spot the Entrance Expedition Flag right away. Stick to the left side as you walk toward the carousel, and you’ll notice a small alley where you’ll find the Le Grand Café de Lumière music record in there.

After grabbing the record, head down the path and go through the archway to reach the carousel itself. On the right side of the carousel, you’ll see a character named Grandis. Talk to him, and he’ll tell you a bit about the area that the carousel has frozen and no longer spins.

How to Fix the Carousel

To clear the ice on the Carousel, you’ll need the Paint Break ability. Once you’ve got the ability, head back to the Carousel and use Paint Break to shatter all the ice shards around it. After you’ve broken them all, the Carousel will start spinning again.

Talk to Grandis, and he’ll be happy that you helped him and will share a memory about the children who used to ride the Carousel. He recalls one child in particular and mentions their hairstyle. If you agree, he’ll change Maelle’s hair to match what he remembers. This will unlock the French Bob Haircut for Maelle. When you have talked to Grandis, go down the path behind the Carousel. Look near some boxes, and you’ll find a Colour of Lumina collectible waiting there.
