Eliminate the Maas Kharet Assassin in Dune Awakening “Making a Martyr”

In the Making a Martyr quest, you’re tracking down a dangerous enemy Tahmir, a brutal member of the Maas Kharet. This guide will help you find his location, fight your way through the enemies, and take down the assassin.

Making a Martyr in Dune Awakening

You’re looking for a guy named Tahmi, he’s part of the Maas Kharet and honestly, he’s a real brute. When you dealt with him, he couldn’t stop bragging about being trained as an assassin. He also rambled on about some wild stuff, gardens, martyr worms, and old Imperial Testing Stations. Most of it sounded like nonsense, but if there’s any truth to what he said, it’s probably the part about the testing stations. That’s your best bet to find him, start searching there.

Imperial Testing Station 71 Location in Dune Awakening

Imperial Testing Station 71 is present in the O’odham region, but don’t stop there; just keep moving forward. Watch your step when heading down the stairs, though there are landmines along the path. Eventually, you’ll reach a room with a huge cactus and a bunch of doors, most of which are blocked. Go through the only one that’s open. Inside, you’ll see some plants and red flares. Turn left to find a door, then turn right to spot another room. This one has an identification band and a hidden door.

Grab whatever loot you find, then keep following the path until you reach a big room filled with enemies and a locked, shielded door. You’ll need to find another identification band nearby to unlock it. Once you go through, you’ll loop back to the cactus room, but now, the previously blocked door will be open. That’s where you’ll face the final boss: the Maas Kharet assassin.

Once you step into the boss’s room, you won’t find him there. But there’s a backup, including regular enemies and elite ones armed with machine guns. To avoid getting overwhelmed, try luring them out into the hallway where you can fight them in smaller groups.

The elites have shields, so bring something like the Adept Dirk; it’s great for breaking through defences. Don’t forget to use your voice ability to stun enemies, then go in for melee attacks to finish them off. After you defeat the boss, make sure to grab the loot from the chest behind him. Once you’re done, just head out and exit the dungeon.

You may face a bug here. Even though the quest marker points to Testing Station 71, don’t rely on that alone. First, head into the final room with the star-marked chest in Station 71 and clear out all the enemies there, just ignore the quest text for now. Once that’s done, make your way to Lab 163, it’s a bit north and slightly to the east. Clear out the boss’s room there, too. That’s what actually triggered the quest completion.
