Character Upgrade 1
Proceed east along the northern street until you notice an Ema placed outside a house across from a Hokora Shrine. Take the Ema to any Hokora Shrine where you have Faith to enhance one of your stats: maximum Health, Sanity, Stamina, or Omamori slots.
Shoulder Bag (Inventory Upgrade)
Return to the main street, head north, then veer left. After defeating two enemies, enter the nearby alley. On a wooden crate inside, you’ll find the Shoulder Bag.
Dried Carcass (Offering)
From the alley previously inhabited by the Fog Monster, move to the far end. Inside an offering box, you’ll collect a Dried Carcass.
Drawer Key (Key Item)
Walk north along the fields to locate the Doctor’s House on your left. Though the front door is locked, a back ladder allows entry. Descend to the lower level, examine the chest on the table, then open the top-left drawer to obtain the Drawer Key.
Pine Omamori
Use the Drawer Key to access the upstairs drawers. Reading the note inside unlocks the adjacent room, where you can retrieve the Pine Omamori from the drawers.

This puzzle features five scarecrow sections. Solve all five correctly without mistakes to earn the Acupuncture Specialist trophy. If you fail, exit and restart from the nearest checkpoint. Occasionally, one of the small boxes appearing in the puzzle sections contains a random Dried Carcass.
