Duskwood is one of the simplest ruin puzzles that you can find in Crimson Desert, although it may confuse players who have not understood the mechanics of the puzzle board. This puzzle follows the principle of a strategy game, where you will need to move the pieces on the board to make a line. Once you know what to do, it becomes very simple. In this guide, we will show you how to solve the Duskwood Puzzle in Crimson Desert.
Duskwood Puzzle in Crimson Desert

You will be able to find the puzzle of Duskwood at Mysterious Energy, located just below the letter “A” in Hernand in the map above. Upon arriving at the location, you will be faced with a board game which resembles a game of Go, with its black and white pieces on the board.
Upon arrival, there is a little green character roaming around the board. It is important that you remove this character before attempting the puzzle so that it won’t interfere with your movements.
Duskwood Puzzle Solution

In order to solve the puzzle, drag the white colored checkers so as to make five white checkers connect in a row. Once you make all five white checkers connect in a row, then the puzzle is solved. You don’t need to use the same stone which is on the side of the board.
It could be any stone as long as it makes five checkers of the same colour form a straight line. This straight line could be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. All that needs to be done is for five checkers to connect in any of the above three directions.
Once you finish the Duskwood Waterside Ruins puzzle, the Abyss Cresset will activate nearby. Walk over to it and interact with it to collect the Abyss Artefact as your reward.
