Dune Awakening: Spice Infused Copper & Steel Dust Locations and How to Get

In Dune: Awakening, crafting is a big part of your journey when it comes to creating powerful gear and useful items. Two important materials you’ll need along the way are Spice-Infused Copper Dust and Spice-Infused Steel Dust. These rare resources are used in dozens of recipes and play a key role in making unique equipment. If you’re just exploring around, opening chests, or doing some trading with other players, there are a few methods for acquiring them. Below, we’ll guide you where to find them and how to obtain both.

How to Get Spice Infused Copper in Dune Awakening

You can find Spice-Infused Copper Dust while exploring crashed ships around the map. One good spot to check out is The Wreck of the Alcyon. Another location you’ll want to check out is Imperial Testing Station No. 2, one of the ancient labs where this stuff sometimes appears.

If you’re close to the Griffin outpost, go just west into the cliffs to find the Old Griffin Hideaway not only will you get some of the rare loot there, but you might even find the spice-infused Copper.

You may also purchase Spice-Infused Copper Dust from fellow players at the Exchange, which is a server-wide auction house. As it’s player-operated, prices are based on demand and supply. You may also directly trade with other players at social centers such as Arrakeen, thus another excellent choice to obtain what you require.

Spice-Infused Steel Dust is one of the crafting materials you’ll be using in Dune: Awakening, particularly when creating high-quality items. It’s an important item in fabrication and happens to be used in 45 recipes, so it’s something that you’ll want to gather and keep as you go along.

If you want to farm Spice-Infused Steel Dust in Dune: Awakening, a good starting point is Hagga Basin, particularly near the Imperial Testing Stations. You can also farm Spice-Infused Iron Dust from Unique Chests, so pay attention to those.

You can also purchase Spice-Infused Steel Dust from other players via the Exchange, the player-run in-game auction house. Keep in mind, though, that prices are determined by the community, so they can be very unpredictable. Another way is direct player-to-player trading, and you can do this at social hubs such as Arrakeen. It’s a good way to pick up what you need if you have something to trade back.
