Opafire Gem Location in Dune Awakening
Opafire Gems are rare resources. Across the desert you can find many buried treasures in it you can get Opafire Gems. To find them more easily, you’ll need an ornithopter equipped with a scanner. These scanners work best around rocky areas. Just fly low and keep spamming the scanner until a treasure spot appears on your map. Once you land, use a compactor to dig up the buried treasure if you’re lucky, it might contain an Opafire Gem.
If you’re not having much luck finding one yourself, you can also buy Opafire Gems from other players using the Exchange, which works like an in-game auction house. Keep in mind, though, that the prices are set by the players themselves, so it can vary a lot.
Alternatively, you can try trading directly with other players at social hubs like Arrakeen. Sometimes a good deal is just a conversation away.

Opafire Gems are sometimes needed to earn Landsraad points by turning them in to your Great House quartermaster. These requests come from the different houses in the Landsraad.
