In Deltarune Chapter 1, there’s a puzzle with a big clock that you will find in the Field of Hopes and Dreams area. This puzzle blocks your path with spikes, and you have to solve it to move ahead. This guide will explain how to do it step by step, how to use the moving platforms, and even how Susie helps later on.
Clock Puzzle Solution Chapter 1
The “Clock Puzzle” starts in the Field of Hopes and Dreams. In the Clock Puzzle, your goal is to remove the spike rows blocking your way on the right.
Clock Puzzle Solution
To solve it, look for the three square platforms on the left side of the spikes. There’s a clock on the wall, that’s your timer. Interact with it to start the puzzle.
Once it begins, certain platforms will light up in a sequence. You need to step on the platforms in that exact order as it lights up. Every time you step right, one row of spikes will go down. But you have to move fast, so don’t forget to use the ‘Sprint’ button.
If you keep getting reset, Ralsei might pop in and remind you to sprint, it’s a hidden tip. When you step on all the right platforms quickly, the spikes will disappear, and you can move forward.
The Second Part of the Puzzle
The second part of the Clock Puzzle starts at the end of the Field of Hopes and Dreams. But you won’t be able to solve it yet. So, keep going to the right, where you will see Susie trying to break through a blocked door. After a short cutscene, she will join your team and help you with the puzzle. Now, head back to the clock from before. Interact with it again, and try stepping on the platforms in the correct order.
