The “Confrontation Looks Like Hope” quest is early in the game. In this quest, you’ll get to meet a hive of bees, make some important choices, and earn awesome rewards, including a powerful helmet and a unique weapon. In this guide, we will walk you through how to start and finish the quest.
Confrontation Looks Like Hope Bee Quest

To start the Confrontation Looks Like Hope Bee quest, head to the Horns of the South and talk to a character named Brock. After the conversation, go north. Here, you will get attacked by a swarm of bees. Once you defeat them, you will be invited to meet the Queen Bee.
When you meet the Queen, she will ask you to become her protector. She reveals that Broc, who used to serve her, betrayed the hive. She wants you to deal with him. Before you go, make sure to buy anything you need from Broc’s shop because once you fight him, he is gone. After defeating him, you can take his armor and return to the Queen.
Rewards
As a reward, she will give you a unique weapon called Sting. The quest doesn’t end there. The Queen will also ask for your help in rebuilding the hive by collecting 1,750 ethereal cobwebs, which drop from enemies you defeat at night. It’s a grind, but once you collect them all and turn them in, the hive is fully restored.
For all your effort, you will be rewarded with the Queen’s Protector Crown. Queen’s Protector Crown is one of the better helmets in the game. It boosts your spell damage and physical damage by 20%, and increases your critical damage by 5%. It’s a great piece of gear that makes the quest well worth your time.
The Sting
The Sting is a decent weapon one-handed weapon. One-handed weapons are great if you like faster attacks and more flexible combat. They might not hit as hard as two-handed weapons, but they’re quicker and can be used with a shield for extra protection.
