Chyornyj Prud is one of the spots in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater where you can find both a GA-KO doll and a Kerotan, along with the special GA-KO camo. These collectables are easy to miss if you’re not looking closely, so this guide will point you right to their locations and save you some searching.
Chyornyj Prud Keratan & GA-KO Collectable Locations
The GA-KO is a little doll based on a cartoon duck, usually shown standing proudly. If you unlock the GA-KO camo, it’s covered in colourful smiling duck faces on a white background. It doesn’t really help with camouflage, but it does have one special perk: it lets you hear Kerotans calling out, which makes them easier to find. In the Metal Gear series, GA-KO and Kerotan go hand in hand as mascot counterparts: the duck and the frog. Both are known for their distinct little sounds.
Kerotans, on the other hand, are frog dolls scattered throughout Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. There are 64 of them total, hidden across all the areas in both the Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater. If you manage to hit all of them in one playthrough, you’ll earn the Kerotan title and unlock Stealth Camouflage for future runs. You can activate them by shooting, using a tranq dart, explosives, a knife or fork, or even just punching and kicking. In the HD Edition, the very first Kerotan you hit also gives you the “Prince Charming” trophy.
1. GA-KO

Head over to the north-east exit, where you’ll see a tripwire trap. Just to the left of it, look for a tree with a rope hanging down that leads to an item. The GA-KO doll is sitting on one of the branches of that tree.
2. Kerotan

From the same tree, dive underwater at its base, and you’ll spot the Kerotan waiting there.
