During this mission, you will find a hidden safe on the ground floor after rescuing Giuseppe. Brancati’s Safe in Chapter 6
In Chapter 6: La Difesa Siciliana, you will see Don Torrisi and Don Galante’s plan unfold. Your job this time is to break Giuseppe Palminteri, a skilled counterfeiter, out of the police station.
Brancati’s safe is hidden away on the ground floor of the guardia station, and you will come across it after rescuing Giuseppe. After you free Giuseppe, follow the yellow quest marker and head to the dining room. From there, head north to reach the study, where you will find Brancati’s safe. It’s still using the factory default combination.
If you want the Salvatore’s Apprentice achievement in Mafia: The Old Country, you will need to crack a safe without knowing the code. This one’s perfect for it, just open the safe, and you will unlock the achievement.
Brancati’s Safe Code in Chapter 6
The code is 00-01-02, but to figure that out in-game, you will need to check two clues: the Safe Repair Record on the desk right next to the safe, and an invoice from T. Wallace & Son in the room next door. Open it up, and you will find 300 Dinari waiting inside. In Mafia: The Old Country, Dinari is the main currency you will use. You can spend it on weapons, knives, outfits, cars, and horses, plus alternate styles for some of those items.
