Black Myth Wukong All Weapon Locations

In Black Myth: Wukong, all weapons are magical staffs (with a few spears) and range from Common to Mythical. Most are unlocked by defeating bosses, completing quests, or upgrading other weapons. They offer various bonuses like increased Critical Hit, Health recovery, or special attacks, with Mythical weapons providing the most powerful effects. Crafting and upgrades require Will, boss drops, and materials like Yaoguai Cores or Refined Iron Sand, while some top-tier weapons are only available in New Game Plus or after optional challenges. In this guide, we will provide All Weapon Locations in Black Myth Wukong.

All Weapon Locations

There are 21 weapons in Black Myth: Wukong, and if you collect all of them, except the one that comes with the Deluxe Edition, you will earn the Staffs and Spears trophy. Remember to get Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff, Dark Iron Staff, and Stormflash Loong Staff; you will need to start New Game plus.

Bronze Cloud Staff

To get the Bronze Cloud Staff in Black Myth: Wukong, you need to own the Deluxe Edition of the game. After that, head to the Front Hill Shrine in the Forest of Wolves at Black Wind Mountain. Offer incense at the shrine, and you will see an option called “Trailblazer’s Gift.” Select it to view all the Deluxe Edition rewards you own. The Bronze Cloud Staff will be there, listed as the fifth item.

Willow Wood Staff

You get Willow Wood Staff automatically when you start the game. You can upgrade it to the Twin Serpent’s Staff after defeating the Whiteclad Noble, or to the Wind Bear Staff after defeating the Black Bear Guai.

Wind Bear Staff


The Wind Bear Staff is a Rare weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It significantly boosts the Critical Hit Chance of the Unveiling Strike during Cloud Step. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, you can craft many different versions. You can craft the Wind Bear Staff at any Keeper’s Shrine after defeating Black Bear Guai in Chapter 1. You will need Will × 8,100, Flame Ebongold × 1, Yaoguai Core × 4, and Stone Spirit × 8.

You will find the Black Bear Guai not far from the “Bodhi Peak” shrine. Just keep moving forward from Black Wind Mountain’s Black Wind Cave, and you will run right into him.

Twin Serpents Staff

The Twin Serpents Staff is an Uncommon weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It boosts the damage of your Light Attack combo finishers, and this bonus becomes even stronger when you’re fighting in water. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, you can craft many different versions of them. You can make the Twin Serpent’s Staff after defeating the White Robed Noble boss in Chapter 1. Just visit any Shrine and use Will × 2700, Jade Fang × 1, Stone Spirit × 8 to craft it.

Whiteclad Noble Location 

Starting from the “Marsh of White Mist” shrine in the Bamboo Grove area of Black Wind Mountain, walk straight ahead. You will soon reach a large open water section, that’s where you will find the Whiteclad Noble.

Rat Sage Staff

The Rat Sage Staff is an Epic weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. When you use the fourth hit of your Light Attack combo or perform a Mobile Staff Spin, it creates a swirling sand attack that boosts your range and damage. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many different ones you can craft. You can craft the Rat Sage Staff after defeating the Yellow Wind Sage, the final boss of Chapter 2. Just go to any Shrine and use Will × 21,000, Samadhi Wind Agate × 1, Refined Iron Sand × 4, and Yaoguai Core × 8 to craft it.

Yellow Wind Sage Location

From the Windseal Gate in the Yellow Wind Formation, head downhill and turn right toward the sandstorm. Keep going into the storm, that’s where the Yellow Wind Sage is waiting.

Kang-Jin Staff

The Kang-Jin Staff is an Epic weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. When you use Punishing Downpour, it changes the usual area damage into powerful Thunder Damage. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many different versions you can craft. You can make the Kang-Jin Staff after defeating the Kang-Jin Star boss in Chapter 3. Just visit any Shrine and use Will × 21,000, Starlit Cloud-Bidden Antler × 1, Refined Iron Sand × 4, and Yaoguai Core × 8.

Kang-Jin Star Location

Right after you defeat the Macaque Chief in the Warding Temple of the Pagoda Realm, your character will slide down a hill, and a cutscene will play. When it ends, you will immediately be thrown into a fight with Kang-Jin Star.

Loongwreathe Staff

The Loongwreathe Staff is an Epic weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It boosts the damage of all your Pillar Stance attacks by a good amount. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many different versions you can craft.

You can craft the Loongwreathe Staff by upgrading the Twin Serpents Staff after you defeat the optional boss, The Red Loong, in Black Wind Mountain. You will also need Loong Scales from Chapter 2. Just visit any Shrine and use Will × 21,000, Thunder Tail × 1, Thunderbone × 1, and Refined Iron Sand × 4 to craft it.

Red Loong Location

The Red Loong is hidden in a secret spot called Loong Claw Grove, which you can reach from the Outside the Forest area in the Forest of Wolves. The entrance is blocked by a waterfall, and you will need Loong Scales to clear it and get inside.

Bishui Beast Staff

The Bishui Beast Staff is a Legendary weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It increases your Critical Hit chance by 10%, helping you deal stronger hits more often. Even though the game only has magical staffs, you can craft many different versions of them. You can get the Bishui Beast Staff by upgrading the Rat Sage Staff after defeating the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast. Just go to any Shrine and use Will × 30,000, Bishui Beast Bit × 1, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Refined Iron Sand × 8.

Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast Location

From the Corridor of Fire and Ice shrine in Bishui Cave, just move straight ahead and drop down into the arena. Once you land, the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast will appear.

Golden Loong Staff

The Golden Loong Staff is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It boosts the damage of all your Pillar Stance attacks, and during Heavy Pillar Stance moves that use 3 or 4 Focus Points, it can even summon a loong to strike enemies with thunder. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many different versions you can craft.

You can craft the Golden Loong Staff by upgrading the Loongwreathe Staff after defeating the Cyan Loong, an optional boss on Turtle Island in Chapter 3. You must have the Loong Scales from Chapter 2 to start this fight. Visit any Shrine and use Will × 45,000, Mountain-Shaking Claw × 1, Sea-Supporting Tendon × 1, and Kun Steel × 2.

Cyan Loong Location

You can find the Cyan Loong in Bitter Lake on Turtle Island. Starting from the shrine, head right and make your way downhill until you reach a cliff, that’s where the boss is. Just walk up to it to trigger the fight.

Stormflash Loong Staff

The Stormflash Loong Staff is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. When you charge it, the staff draws in thunder, and while you’re in the Shocked State, every attack you make deals Thunder Damage. Even though the game only has one weapon type, magical staffs, you can craft many different versions. You can craft the Stormflash Loong Staff at any Shrine, but only in New Game Plus. You will need the Loong Pearl × 9, Gold Tree Core × 4, Kun Steel × 2, and Will × 45,000.

Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff

The Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff can be unlocked by finishing the Buddha’s Eyeballs quest and defeating the optional boss, Shigandang, the Yaoguai King. You can later upgrade it to the Staff of Blazing Karma by beating the Flint Chief, Flint Vanguard, and the Mother of Flamlings. To craft it, you will need Heart of Stone × 1, Yaoguai Core × 4, Stone Spirit × 8, and Will × 8,100.

Shigandang, the Yaoguai King Location

Once you’ve collected all six Buddha Eyes, go to the Stone Vanguard’s arena and interact with the boulder there. Doing that will unlock the fight.

Staff of Blazing Karma

The Staff of Blazing Karma can be crafted once you collect the Samadhi Fire Crystals from the Flint Chief, Flint Vanguard, and the Mother of Flamlings. It upgrades the Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff and can later be upgraded again to the Dark Iron Staff in New Game+. To craft it, you will need Samadhi Fire Crystal × 3, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Will × 30,000.

Flint Chief Location

From the Valley Entrance shrine in Furnace Valley, head straight ahead. When you run into the first shielded enemy (an Earth Rakshasa), keep going and veer left. You will meet a second shielded enemy standing in front of a large gate. With the gate in front of you, turn left and drop down into the lava. Then turn right and follow the path. After a short walk, the Flint Chief will rise up from the lava to start the fight.

Flint Vanguard Location

From Ashen Pass III in the Field of Fire, move straight ahead. You will come across a huge rolling boulder going back and forth. Use the small safe spots along the sides to dodge it as you cross. Near the end, you will see a large fire on your right. After a moment, Zhu Bajie will smash the boulder, and Pingping will put out the flames.

Once the fire is gone, turn around and head back the way you came. Now that the path is clear, take the left route, go downhill, and you will find the Flint Vanguard on the main path.

Mother of Flamlings Location 

The Mother of Flamlings is found in the Fallen Furnace Crater area of the Field of Fire in Chapter 5. To summon her, you will need four Flame Ores. You can get these by defeating the flame worms roaming around the crater. Once you have all four, head to the boss’s location and interact with the glowing spot on the ground. This will summon the Mother of Flamlings and start the fight.

Dark Iron Staff

The Dark Iron Staff is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It boosts your Attack based on your Defence and also gives 5 Burn Resistance. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many versions you can craft. The Dark Iron Staff can be crafted in New Game+. It’s the upgraded version of the Staff of Blazing Karma. To make it, you will need The Bull King’s Iron Horn × 2, Gold Tree Core × 4, Kun Steel × 2, Will × 45,000.

Chitin Staff

The Chitin Staff is an Epic weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. When you land a charged Heavy Attack, you recover a bit of Health for every Focus Point you spent. Even though the game only has one weapon type, the magical staff, you can craft many different versions of it. You can craft the Chitin Staff after defeating The Second Sister. Just visit any Shrine and use Will × 30,000, Bishui Beast Bit × 1, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Refined Iron Sand × 8.

The Second Sister Location

From the Estate of the Zhu shrine in the Village of Lanxi, just open the door ahead. A cutscene will play, and once it ends, you will go straight into the fight with The Second Sister.

Spider Celestial Staff

The Spider Celestial Staff is a Legendary weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. Like the Chitin Staff, it lets you recover a little Health for each Focus Point spent when you land a charged Heavy Attack. But it also adds a bonus: when you’re in the Poisoned State, your hits can infect enemies with Poison Bane. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, there are many different ones you can craft. You can make the Spider Celestial Staff by upgrading the Chitin Staff after defeating the Violet Spider boss. Just go to any Shrine and use Chitin Staff × 1, Will × 30,000, Spider Leg × 1, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Refined Iron Sand × 8.

Violet Spider Location

The Violet Spider is found in The Gathering Cave in Webbed Hollow. From the shrine, just walk straight ahead until you reach a large open area. A cutscene will start as soon as you enter.

Visionary Centipede Staff

The Visionary Centipede Staff is a Legendary weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It lets you recover a little Health for each Focus Point spent when you land a charged Heavy Attack, and your Health recovery is greatly increased if the enemy is in the Poisoned State. Even though the game only has magical staffs, there are many versions you can craft. You can craft the Visionary Centipede Staff by upgrading the Chitin Staff after finishing Chapter 4. Just visit any Shrine and use Will × 30,000, Golden Glowing Eye × 1, and Refined Iron Sand × 8.

Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff

The Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It lets you recover a small amount of Health for each Focus Point spent when landing a charged Heavy Attack, and it also shoots spines at nearby enemies. Even though the game only uses magical staffs, you can craft many different versions. You can get the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff in New Game Plus by upgrading the Chitin Staff. Visit any Shrine and use Will × 45,000, Sky-Piercing Horn × 4, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Kun Steel × 2.

Spikeshaft Staff

The Spikeshaft Staff is a Legendary weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It gives you a short burst of Focus gain after using the Seeing Through ability on an enemy. Even though the game only has magical staffs, there are many versions you can craft. You can craft the Spikeshaft Staff after completing Chapter 3. Just go to any Shrine and use Will × 30,000, Cosmo Radiance × 1, Gold Tree Core × 4, and Refined Iron Sand × 8.

Chu-Bai Spear

The Chu-Bai Spear can be crafted after finishing the Third Prince quest. To do this, you need to defeat the four captains and collect their spirits. Talking to The Third Prince afterwards will give you the Chubai Spearhead, which is needed to craft the spear. To make the Chu-Bai Spear, you will need Chu-Bai Spearhead × 1, Refined Iron Sand × 4, Yaoguai Core × 8, and Will × 21,000.

The Third Prince Quest Location 

You can find The Third Prince in a prison cell right near your starting point in the Pagoda Realm. When you first meet him, his cell is sealed with a purple barrier, so you can only speak to him from outside.

Jingubang Staff

The Jingubang is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It stops the 4th Focus Point from draining over time and also boosts your Critical Hit Chance by 6%. Even though the game only has magical staffs, there are many versions you can craft. You can find the Jingubang at the Water Curtain Cave, just north of the Mantis-Catching Swamp Waypoint. You will need the Somersault Cloud ability to reach it.

Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear

The Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear is a Mythical weapon in Black Myth: Wukong. It lets you mix spear techniques into your Light Attack combos and increases the damage of Thrust Stance moves. Using the Forceful Thrust attack even shoots swords from the staff to hit enemies. Even though the game only has magical staffs, there are many versions you can craft.

You can get the Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear after completing the Treasure Hunter’s quest. You need to defeat the final bosses in each chapter’s secret area: Elder Jinchi, Fuban, The Duskveil, and Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast. Visit The Great Pagoda Shrine in the Pagoda Realm to trigger a cutscene and unlock the secret Mount Mei area. Finally, defeat Erlang, the Sacred Divinity, to obtain the weapon.

Treasure Hunter’s quest Location 

To start the quest, head in the opposite direction from the North Shore of Bitter Lake shrine. You will come across a small temple where a Treasure Hunter is being attacked by Cyan Bats. Defeat the bats to save him, then talk to him and go through all his dialogue options to move the quest forward.
