Black Myth Wukong All Seed Locations

In Black Myth: Wukong, using seeds to progress might seem optional but they are vital for players for long-term progression in the game. Seeds can be used to create crafting materials in Zodiac Village, and they are needed to get the achievement titled, “Seeds To Sow”. Since many seeds rely on random drops and long respawn timers, knowing where to look saves hours of late-game farming.

Seeds Found Through Exploration

Celestial Pear

Chapter 3, Valley of Ecstasy (Brook of Bliss). After you have reached the shrine, face away from the bridge, jump off the cliff, and when you land, look right to see a tree with bright yellow fruit hanging from it. Follow the left path of the river’s bank to find two additional trees that are similar to this one.

Fire Bellflower

Chapter 5, Woods of Ember (Ashen Pass I). One plant sits just ahead of the shrine, hidden behind a destructible fence. There is also a plant located directly in front of you to the left as you walk towards the left staircase; simply continue walking and you will find another plant. After crossing a wooden bridge into the new area, you will see yet another plant.

Fire Date

Chapter 5, Furnace Valley (Valley Entrance). Head forward from the shrine until you reach a shielded enemy. Drop down on the right for an early sample. Then double back and go through the tunnel past the lava worm. Most Fire Date plants grow around the lava lake beyond this point and resemble small, scorched trees.

Fragrant Jade Flower

Chapter 4, Village of Lanxi (Estate of Zhu). Instead of taking the stairs near the shrine, move along the right side of the gate to find one by a building. After that, go up the stairs and through the gate, then turn right immediately for another.

Progress through the temple area connected to the Second Sister boss arena; one plant is tucked into the upper-right corner near spider webs. Dropping through the central hole leads to Webbed Hollow, where another can be collected near your landing spot. These plants appear as pink flowering bushes.

Gentian

Chapter 3, Valley of Ecstasy (Forest of Felicity). Walk behind the shrine and descend the slope toward the water. A sample appears along the path. Continue beyond the lake and past the lightning enemy to find another. Dropping down to the lower area on the left reveals more Gentian plants.

Jade Lotus

Chapter 1, Black Wind Cave (Cave Interior). Near the arena where Black Wind King was defeated, check the pond’s right corner for a green water-lily plant.

Tree Pearl

Chapter 3, Valley of Ecstasy (Towers of Karma). A Tree with round white fruit Is located behind the Shrine and easily identified by its colour; there is alos a second Tree Pearl located on the right side of an lake nearby.

Seeds Dropped by Enemies or Hidden Bosses

Golden Lotus

Chapter 3, Pagoda Realm (Warding Temple). From the shrine, step off the cliff ahead and drift slightly right. A worm-like enemy travels uphill here and must be defeated repeatedly until the seed drops. The area can be reset at the shrine for farming. The same enemy type also appears later at Bitter Lake – Turtle Island, offering another farming option.

Millennium Ginseng & Aged Ginseng (Counts as two)

Chapter 3, Valley of Ecstasy (Towers of Karma). This pair comes from the Old Ginseng Guai, a concealed boss. From the shrine, turn left toward an enemy standing near a mural. Follow the right-side path to a corner where a plant rests in front of a small stone structure. Interacting with it triggers the fight. Only one seed drops, but delivering it registers as two.

Monkey-Head Fungus & Snake-Head Mushroom (Counts as two)

Chapter 4, Temple of Yellow Flowers (Court of Illumination). To find the Fungiwoman Boss, turn away from the Shrine and ascend up the opposing stairs. Reach a fork in the path and turn to the right. Pulling up a mushroom at this location reveals the Fungiwoman Boss, who upon being defeated gives you one seed, which equates to two seeds! Additionally, behind her location is also where you can find a Drink item.

Nine-Capped Lingzhi & Purple Lingzhi (Counts as two)

Chapter 5, Field of Fire (Ashen Pass III). A large red mushroom grows on the right side of the shrine. Pulling it out initiates the Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss encounter. As with the other hidden bosses, the dropped seed contributes two entries toward the total.

Final Notes

  • Plant-based seeds are RNG, so missing one doesn’t mean it’s gone forever
  • Respawns take 30 minutes after harvesting
  • Hidden bosses that drop seeds always count as two, even though they only drop one item

Once all 15 seed entries are registered, the Seeds to Sow trophy/achievement unlocks automatically.
