Best Weapons Location in Grounded 2

In Grounded 2, having the right weapon can make a big difference, especially as you explore new areas and face tougher bugs. Some weapons are better suited for certain enemies, depending on the type of damage they deal, like slashing, stabbing, or smashing. As you move through the game, you’ll unlock stronger gear by collecting new materials and recipes. In this guide, we’ll go over some of the best weapons you can get early on, where to find the parts to craft them, and why they’re worth using.

    Best Weapons Location

The best weapons in Grounded change as you progress through the game, since new materials and crafting recipes become available along the way. Choosing the right weapon really matters, because each one deals a different type of damage and some enemies are more vulnerable to certain types than others. So, it’s a good idea to switch up your gear depending on what you’re fighting.

    Mosquito Needle

The Mosquito Needle is hands down one of the best early-game weapons you can get in Grounded 2, mainly because of its lifesteal effect. Every time you land a hit, it heals you a bit super handy when you’re low on health in a fight.

To craft it, you’ll need 2 Mosquito Beaks, 2 Silk Ropes, and 2 Mosquito Blood Sacks. So, as soon as you run into your first mosquito out in the wild, don’t ignore it, take it down and analyse the parts it drops to unlock the recipe. You’ll usually find mosquitoes buzzing around the trash can area to the south or up on the picnic table. They’re not the easiest enemies, but getting that Needle early can really make a difference.

    Spider Stringer

The Spider Stringer is a solid Tier 2 bow you can get pretty early in the game, and it’s a great pick if you’re looking for a strong ranged weapon. What makes it even better is its lifesteal ability; each shot helps you recover a bit of health, which comes in handy during tough fights.

You’ll need some materials from Orb Weavers to craft it, but luckily, there are plenty of those spiders hanging around the oak tree area. Take a few down, gather their fangs and chunks, and you’ll be able to put this bow together in no time.

    Red Ant Club

The Red Ant Club is one of the best heavy-hitting weapons you can get early on in Grounded 2, especially if you like using two-handed gear or need something for smashing through enemies. It swings a bit slowly and doesn’t land critical hits often, but what really makes it shine is the amount of stun damage it deals. It can stop enemies mid-attack, giving you a huge advantage in fights.

Crafting it is pretty simple, too. You just need some Red Ant parts, a bit of Sap, and a couple of Crude Ropes, all of which you can find easily around the starting area. For how effective it is, the Red Ant Club is definitely worth crafting as soon as you can.

    Crimson Saber

The Crimson Sabre is a solid early-game weapon, especially if you’re up against enemies that are weak to slashing damage. It’s only a Tier 1 weapon, but don’t let that fool you; it still performs well and is super easy to craft. All you need are a few Red Ant parts and some Grub Hide, which you can get just by taking out a handful of red ants. If you’re looking for a reliable slashing weapon that doesn’t take much effort to make, the Crimson Sabre is a great choice to start with.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
