If you are looking to farm Color of Lumina early in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you can farm them before level 90. There is a farming spot that you can access as soon as you hit Act 3. In this guide, we will walk you through exactly how to reach it, what kind of setup works best, and how you can make the most of this low-level farming for Color of Lumina.
How to Access the Farming Spot Early
You can start farming Color of Lumina as soon as you enter Act 3. To begin, head back to the Monolith, the same area where Act 2 ends. Run along the long path until you re-enter the Monolith interior. Once inside, make your way to the first expeditioner’s flag and fast travel to Tower’s Peak. From there, backtrack slightly, run past two enemy mobs, and keep moving to the right. Eventually, you will spot a grappling point; use it to jump across, then turn right. Just ahead, you’ll find a group of three enemies, this is your farming spot.
Farming Strategy
The trick is to use AoE (area of effect) abilities to clear them quickly, like you can use Maelle with Phantom Strike and Verso with Phantom Stars. These are great because:
- The enemies are weak to light damage.
- One of them is also weak to dark damage.
It takes a bit to get there and reset by going back to the flag, but you can do this at level 50, while Renar’s Drafts isn’t doable until level 90+.
Suggested Build
You Just Entered Act 3, so the suggested build will be:
- Upgrade your weapons.
- Respec your attribute points to boost your damage and crit rate.
For Maelle:
- Use Last Chance to get into Virtue Stance.
- Then have Seiel use Intervention to let Mile act again and land another Phantom Strike.
You can mix it up too – make Phantom Stars the main skill, or even go with Monaco if you prefer.
Pictos and Luminas to Use
For Maelle:
- Weapon: Barrier Breaker (mine’s just level 15).
- Key Luminas: Energizing Start I & II, Energizing Turn (for more action points).
- Boost damage with: First Offensive, Glass Cannon, Immaculate, Inverted Affinity.
- Must-have: Painted Power.
- Great Synergies: Confident Fighter, Augmented First Strike, and especially At Death’s Door, which boosts damage when combined with Last Stance.
- Also, grab Critical Moment to increase crit rate below 30% health; it pushes your crit chance past 100%.
For Verso:
- Weapon: Dualiso, upgraded to level 19.
- Pictos: Combo Attack, Energizing Attack II, Painted Power.
- Luminas: Same damage boosters as Maelle + SOS Power (great synergy if you take a hit).
- Main skills: Phantom Stars for AoE, or Overload + Berserker Slash for high single-target damage, this also works well with At Death’s Door.
For Sciel:
- Use Intervention to enable extra turns.
- If you have Cheater and enough points, try Fortune’s Fury to double an ally’s damage for one turn, super powerful when timed right.
To utilise Colour of Lumina in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you must wait until you have unlocked The Curator. The Curator will be waiting for you at Camp from now on when you’ve unlocked them by moving forward with the story in Act 1.
