Best Early Guns For All Classes In Battlefield 6

Getting started in Battlefield 6 can feel overwhelming with so many weapons and classes to choose from. The key to success early on is picking the right guns that help you win fights and earn XP without wasting time on weapons that aren’t effective. In this guide, we’ll break down the best starter weapons for each class: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon, so you know which guns to focus on first.

    Assault Class

In Battlefield 6, the Assault class can carry two primary weapons at the same time. This is a game-changer because it lets you handle any fight without changing your class. You can take out enemies up close with a shotgun, then easily switch to your assault rifle for mid-range battles.

    M433

The M433 is your starter rifle. It has a good rate of fire and decent accuracy at short and medium ranges. Long-range shots require tap firing to control the bloom, but overall, it’s very reliable.

Once you’ve levelled it up a bit, consider swapping the blue laser for a red or green one so you can use the extra points to upgrade the barrel for higher bullet velocity, which helps at longer ranges. The M433 is a versatile weapon that you can rely on early.

    B36A4

The B36A4, essentially a G3 rifle, comes later and is more suited for medium to long-range fights. It has higher bullet velocity and precision than the M433, but a slower rate of fire. This rifle is easier to control and has less bloom, so it’s perfect for players who prefer taking controlled shots at a distance. Focus on attachments like a foregrip for recoil control and an extended barrel for extra bullet speed.

    M4A1

Compared to the M433, it has better hitfire, precision, mobility, and a faster rate of fire, making it excellent at close-range combat. You can add a grip for recoil control and a laser for hip-fire accuracy. It’s a great weapon if you enjoy running and gunning.

    M277

The M277, based on a new US military rifle, is arguably the best early carbine. Keep the suppressor on for stealth, use a heavy extended barrel to increase bullet velocity, and use an angled grip for faster ADS speed. A 25-round magazine is a good balance, and hollow-point ammo can give you better headshot damage.

    M87A1

For close-quarters combat, the M87A1 is one of the strongest options. It can one-shot enemies in tight spaces. Use the largest magazine available, pair it with the best laser for hip-fire, and use slugs for longer-range shots if you want.

    Engineer Class

While there are multiple options like the MP5, MP7, and UMP, the SGX stands out. It has a very high rate of fire, good damage, and a solid magazine size. Its low bullet deviation makes it effective even at long ranges.

Attachments like a grip for precision, a laser for hip-fire, and the largest magazine available will make the SGX incredibly effective in close-quarters combat. Later, you might explore other SMGs like the Vector, but the SGX will carry you early on.

    Support Class

The Support class acts like a combat medic. They help teammates by healing them, giving out ammo, and reviving them quickly. At the same time, they can carry and fire light machine guns to lay down suppressing fire. Support players rely on LMGs.

    L110

Pair it with an extended barrel for velocity and a laser to improve hip-fire. Using a bipod reduces recoil and bullet deviation drastically, letting you mow down enemies at range.

    M60

It has higher base damage than the L110 and benefits greatly from a heavy extended barrel for increased bullet velocity. Attach a scope of your choice and a bipod to dominate longer engagements.

    Recon Class

The Recon class is a stealthy sniper and saboteur. They can spot and mark enemies, take out targets from a distance, plant C4, and handle other tactical tasks to support the team. Recon players have DMRs and sniper rifles.

    DMRs – M39 EMR

It’s a three-hit kill to the chest and two hits to the head at range, making it deadly. Add a scope, suppressor, extended barrel, and grip to maximise its long-range potential. Later, you can switch to the SVK for more firepower.

    Sniper Rifles – M2010 ESR

It’s ready to use without further customisation. Eventually, you can move on to the PSR, but this sniper you can use for a long time.
