Battlefield 6: The Best SCW-10 Loadout

The SCW-10 is among the best SMGs for Battlefield 6 if you want a close-range weapon that offers speed, control, and pure damage at the same time. It’s fast to aim, deadly at close range, and surprisingly stable at medium range. This guide reveals how to acquire the SCW-10, the optimal loadout configuration, and some pro advice to get the most out of its performance.

Unlocking the SCW-10

You cannot access the SCW-10 right away, since it is limited by the Close Quarters 1 task. Fortunately, this one is not as annoying as the other ones. To unlock you have to be on a kill streak to get to 300 close range kills while using any SMG, and to inflict at least a total of 10,000 damage while aiming down sights. It’s a grind for sure, but if you are being aggressive, while keeping battles short and in close quarters, you will do it before you even think about it.

Recommended SCW-10 Setup

The SCW-10 does not necessitate major modifications to work effectively. The goal is to build on its strengths — rapid aim-down-sight speed, reliable hipfire, and smooth feel. A simple setup guarantees the weapon remains nimble and allows for easy transitions in close-quarters.

As for the muzzle, it’s best to avoid one entirely. This not only keeps your build light, but also ends up saving points for more meaningful upgrades. The SCW-10 has controllable recoil as well, thus you will not regret any loss of stability. The Basic barrel (10 points) is a simple choice that is effective as well, it increases ADS speed with a crisp responsive feel — exactly what you need for surprise engagements.

The Low-Profile Stubby underbarrel (45 points) offers true control. It decreases recoil significantly, yet remains a fast aim speed for smooth target tracking. Just remember to stop moving to get the best accuracy when firing. The addition of the 5mw Green laser (10 points) also provides a nice boost in hipfire precision, which can be especially helpful in rushing scenarios or quick reactions.

Next, go with the 20-round magazine (20 points). The slight increase in capacity might not seem like much, but those extra bullets can easily secure an additional kill before you need to reload. Lastly, stick with standard ammunition, which keeps the setup affordable and efficient without sacrificing performance. This combination creates a lightweight, reliable loadout that complements the SCW-10’s natural strengths perfectly.

How to Handle the SCW-10

The SCW-10 packs an incredible punch, but it’s a weapon that rewards smart, calculated play over pure aggression. To get the best out of it, focus on staying unpredictable during fights — use slides, strafes, and crouches to keep your movement fluid and avoid getting hit while reloading.

When shooting from a distance at other opponents, make sure to control your shots by standing still in order to achieve accuracy and recoil control. Do not be afraid to test the distance capabilities as well – if you are aiming carefully and your magazine is full, you will notice that the SCW-10 can effectively kill distant opponents considerably better than you would expect from a SMG.

The SCW-10 isn’t the easiest gun to pick up, but once you dial in its rhythm, it’s one of the most satisfying SMGs in Battlefield 6. Fast, reliable, and dangerously efficient — this setup turns it into a close-range predator capable of punching above its weight when handled right.
