Avowed Treasure Map Woedica Inheritance Location

Looking to snag the “Gloves of the Strangler” in Avowed? The “Treasure Map – Woedica’s Inheritance” quest leads you to this hidden treasure, but navigating it can be a bit tricky. Whether you buy the map from Sanza or decide to find the loot yourself, this guide will walk you through the exact location and steps to unlock the secret door and claim your reward.

Treasure Map Location of Woedica inheritance

Okay, so in Avowed, you’ll meet a guy named Sanza near where you first land in Dawnshore. Chat with him, and he’ll give you a quest called “Mapping the Living Lands.” After that, he moves back to his shop, Sanza’s Emporium, in Paradis. Now, here’s the deal with the treasure map: you can buy a map called “Treasure Map – Woedica’s Inheritance” from Sanza for 100 coins. It’s supposed to lead you to some hidden loot.

However, sometimes Sanza just… doesn’t have the map. It’s like he forgot to stock it. But here’s the best part: even if you can’t purchase the map, you can still discover the treasure! If you discover it yourself, the game will automatically acknowledge that you’ve finished the “Treasure Map – Woedica’s Inheritance” quest. So, essentially, the map is only a shortcut, not a requirement.

Woedica’s Inheritance Location

Alright, so you bought the treasure map from Sanza. It’s got a little drawing on it, right? You’ll see a big wall on one side and some small, bumpy hills on the other. That’s your clue to a hidden spot with treasure.

Here’s how to find it:

  • Fast travel to the God’s Gate Beacon, which is south of Usher’s Hand and just east of Paradis.
  • Then, head west towards the tall wall of the settlement.
  • Turn northwest, and you’ll start to see the landscape from the drawing.
  • Climb those little hills.
  • You’re looking for a wall that looks a bit off, like it’s hiding something.
  • See that cable sticking out of the wall? Follow it and you’ll find a button. Press it!
  • A secret door will open, and inside, you’ll see a golden chest.

Open that chest, and you’ll get the “Gloves of the Strangler.” That’s your treasure!

Alright, so you got the “Gloves of the Strangler” – cool! They’re pretty sweet for anyone who likes playing as a ranger. Here’s what they do:

  • Extra Critical Hits: They give you a 3% boost to your critical hit chance. That means you’ll land those big, powerful hits more often.
  • Sneak Attack Damage: They also have a special enchantment called “Lesser Ambushing.” This makes your stealth attacks deal 15% more damage. Basically, if you hit an enemy while they don’t see you coming, it’ll hurt a lot more.

Now, because rangers often use bows and other ranged weapons, it’s easier for them to sneak around and get those stealth attacks in. But, even if you’re not a ranger, there is a way to get the stealth attack bonus. If you learn the ranger’s “Shadowing Beyond” invisibility skill, you can use that to sneak up on enemies with any weapon you want.

One thing to note is that you can’t make the critical hit bonus stronger, but you can upgrade the stealth attack enchantment at a party camp.
