How to Start the From The Ashes DLC
You can start the From the Ashes DLC in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora straight from the main menu. When the game opens, or after pressing ESC, go to the Story Selection menu. On the left side, you will see the From the Ashes DLC. Select From the Ashes, and the game will ask you to choose a save file. Pick the save you want to use, and the DLC will begin.
From the Ashes DLC
From the Ashes is the third story DLC for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It comes after The Sky Breaker and Secrets of the Spires. The DLC was released on December 19, 2025, along with Avatar: Fire and Ash. In this story, the RDA joins forces with the Mangkwan clan to launch an attack on the region.
About six months after the Secrets of the Spires DLC, and just a few weeks after Avatar: Fire and Ash, Teylan picks up a disturbing radio message. In it, Recom Quaritch says the situation in the Frontier is completely out of control and that the resistance needs to be crushed.
Soon after, disaster strikes the Aranahe clan. Their hometree and the land around it are attacked and set on fire. What was once a green and living forest is reduced to ash and burned trees, while the nearby Kinglor Forest continues to burn. This destruction is caused by a new alliance between the Mangkwan clan and the RDA. Together, they invade the area, force the Aranahe out of their hometree, and turn it into their own base by covering it with metal structures.
You play as So’lek, a key member of the Resistance. He wakes up to find his home destroyed and his Sarentu family missing after being left for dead in an ambush by the RDA and the Mangkwan. Driven by grief and anger, So’lek sets out to find his loved ones, protect them, and take revenge on those who destroyed his world.
