In Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, taking down the Takahashi Clan is a critical step in your journey through the Twisted Tree organization. To begin this series of assassinations, you’ll need to progress through the main story with Noae and complete missions that involve taking down three key members of The Shinbakufu: Ido Yoshihiro, Wada Koretake, and Wakasa. Once these targets are eliminated, you’ll unlock the Takahashi Clan, starting with the assassination of Takahashi Inoshichi. This guide will walk you through the steps to locate and eliminate Inoshichi, ensuring a smooth and efficient execution of the mission.
How To Start The Assassination
To access the Twisted Tree organization assassinations, you need to first progress through the main story with Noae. The Twisted Tree missions become available after you’ve defeated three members of The Shinbakufu: Ido Yoshihiro, Wada Koretake, and Wakasa.
Once you’ve completed these three main quest assassinations, you can start targeting the Takahashi Clan. Similar to the main assassination targets, you’ll need to locate the Takahashi Clan of the Twisted Tree either through your scouts or by observing the area yourself. Using your scouts is the more efficient option, and we’ve marked the location of each Takahashi Clan member below to help you make the most of your scouts.
Assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi
Head west from Honnoji Temple in Kyoto, and southeast of Umenomiya Taisha Shrine. Next, make your way to your final target, Inoshichi, located slightly southwest of the Honnoji Temple area in southern Kyoto. Inoshichi can be found near the center of the search circle, just below and to the left of the word ‘Honnoji’ on the map. The building he’s in has two doors, so be cautious when sneaking in to ensure the assassination goes smoothly. Once Inoshichi is dealt with, the true final contract will open up. Takahashi Jiro, located to the west of Honnoji Temple.
