Kabukimono Quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The Kabukimono is one of the first side quests you’ll come across in Assassin’s Creed Shadows since it’s located in the starting province, Izumi Settsu. To reveal it on your map, head northwest across the water from Settsu until you reach Amagasaki.
From there, go directly east, and you’ll spot the quest marker just below Nishinomiya Shrine. Talk to the NPC with the quest icon above them, and your objective bar will update with a separate circle listing all the Kabukimono.
Assassinate Ember in Kabukimono Quest
Clues: He is southwest of Osaka Castle. He can be found near burnt buildings.
Start by fast-traveling to the Osaka Kakurega. According to the hints, the Kabukimono is in the southwestern part of the village, near some burnt buildings. From the Kakurega, head straight west.
You’ll come across the burnt buildings just before reaching the water that separates this part of the village. The Kabukimono and his Ronin are here. Defeating them is easy, just lure them near the cart with explosive barrels and use a Kunai to blow it up, instantly taking out both Ember and his Ronin.
Reward: Spark of Ember (rare teppo) and Armor Piercing on Consecutive Hits (rare engraving).
