Once you get to Chapter 9 of the main story, you will receive a mission called “Face the Inner Self.” During this mission, you have to navigate through the temple and then enter the Abyss. If you are still in Chapter 9, it is a good idea to complete it while you are there, as it can easily be overlooked while doing the main story. If you have already completed Chapter 9, then you can fast-travel to get there.

The first step is going to the water and the turbine. Then, use Nature’s Snare on the side of the turbine. This will slowly drain the water in the area. The step is then repeated a few times until the water level is no longer going down. Then you can move on to the next part.
Start by moving through the temple until you reach the stairs leading downward. The next step is going down the stairs and finding the blocked water. To solve this step, a Turning Slash is used on the blocked water. Once the water is cleared, it will drain away, and the path will be clear.
This lets you pick up the electrical cube nearby. Take the cube and place it onto the platform above. From there, connect it to the nearby mechanism and activate the device. After that, the puzzle is complete.
