Mining is one of the best ways to collect rare materials in Verse Piece, and it’s pretty easy to get started. This guide will help you through how to get your first pickaxe, the best upgrades to increase your mining, and the ways to farm rare nodes faster using private servers, server hopping, and helpful abilities.

Mining in Verse Piece

You’ll need to get a pickaxe in order to begin mining. You can get one by doing a simple quest with the NPC who is just outside of the Dungeon Cave. After completing the task, the pickaxe will be deposited in your character. Enter the Dungeon Cave now, and watch for the glowing spots of ore. That’s where all the valuable resources are.

Upgrades in Mining in Verse Piece

You can mine immediately without upgrading and still receive some ores. Firstly, there is the Mining Master trait. This rewards you with one additional ore each time you dig. You can attempt to obtain it by rerolling your traits from the NPC in Middle Village. It’s a legendary attribute that only has a 1.25% chance of appearing, so it may take a few attempts. And be sure to save any decent attributes prior to rerolling. Two, you’ll need to acquire Mining Gloves. Based on the type of glove you’re wearing, these are able to provide you with up to +3 extra ores per node.

If you’re casually mining in the Dungeon Cave, just stroll around and attack every node that you see as being perfectly acceptable for acquiring common ores. One of the best secrets is creating a private server. Each time you logout and log back in, the nodes of ore reset, which provides you with a new opportunity at acquiring those rare spawns. You may also attempt server hopping. Simply just keep alternating from one public server to another until you see the node you’re looking for.

The Drilling Artifact is a rare item you can get from any type of chest, and it’s super useful for mining. If you are in a hurry to speed it up, private servers and server hopping are helpful. It’s the quickest way to reset ores and farm those hard-to-find ones more effectively.
