ARC Raiders Sentinel Firing Core – How to Get

The Sentinel Firing Core is a rare ARC Raiders crafting material, mainly serving to upgrade your workstations. It doesn’t drop often, and only specific ARC enemies — Sentinels — have a chance to drop it. You can sometimes find one while salvaging the destroyed ARC husks scattered across the surface maps.

While it’s possible to find them in several zones, the Dam Battlegrounds map is by far the most reliable location to farm both Sentinels and husks. The map layout, along with low enemy density and convenient spawn points, makes this area the go-to farming spot for this item.

Best Place to Find a Sentinel in ARC Raiders

Head to the Research & Administration Point of Interest on the Dam Battlegrounds map if you’re hunting Sentinels in particular.

A Sentinel often spawns on the side of the main building, all the way up the stairs at the corner; you can see it quite easily from afar, so it’s a good idea to take it out before approaching.

Once destroyed, scavenge the Sentinel’s husk to see if it drops the Sentinel Firing Core. Keep in mind, though — this item has a low drop rate, and sometimes the Sentinel won’t drop anything at all.

If there is no loot from the corpse, head downstairs in the building. Sometimes, the husk spawns down below, instead of exactly where the fight was.

(Tip: This area tends to attract Raiders and ARC patrols alike, so be careful. Long-range or stealthy approaches work best if you want to avoid getting third-partied while you loot.)

Best Places to Loot Sentinel Firing Cores

If the farming of active Sentinels does not work out, you can also try looting ARC Courier Husks. These destroyed ARC remnants lie strewn everywhere on the Dam Battlegrounds map and drop various rare components, including Sentinel Firing Cores, Wasp Drivers, and Fireball Burners.

A good farming route is around the area at Swamp Outpost, especially north of the main point of interest, as several smaller Courier Husks spawn near the larger Baron Husks. These husks are also marked on your map, so you can better plan a route that hits several in one run.
