The Altar of Solitude is one of Crimson Desert’s more atmospheric Abyss puzzles – a compact, puzzle forward encounter that rewards clever use of Axiom abilities. This chamber layers rotating platforms, movable power panels and a single energy cube into a short procession of spatial puzzles that culminate in an Abyss Artifact. Whether you’re racing for fastest clear or taking your time to nab every hidden chest, this guide walks you step by step from the entry point to the final switch.
Obtaining Missing Chips
If you look to your left, you’ll see an energy chip floating in the air. You need to place the chip in the socket on the left platform as shown in the above image.
Then you have to place the energy cube on the structure that is in the middle of both the platforms as depicted in the above picture.
After you’ve placed the energy cube near the structure, the left platform will rotate and while it’s rotating you’ve to get down to the below area quickly before the gap closes.
Then look through these walls to find another energy chip, you have to use Axiom Force on the chip and try to move the chip to the end of the right side where there’s enough space to pull the chip out through the wall.
Then leave the energy chip at the top near the rotating platform and use the teleporter that is located in the small area to teleport back to the upper area.
Then move the energy cube away from the structure and the left platform will rotate to its old position while pushing the chip out along with it. Now, take the third chip and the other 2 chips on the left platform and fix them on the middle and right platform sockets. Then, place the energy cube near the structure again to rotate the right platform this time and quickly get below before the platform fully rotates.
Then make your way inside this room and you’ll see the 4th chip inside, move it near the rotating platform and use the teleporter to get back to the puzzle area and rotate the right platform to get the chip.
Restoring the Abyss
Now, replace the left platform’s sockets with the 4th chip and the middle chip, this will activate the large button on the ground.
Use Force Palm on the button and it will restore the Altar of Solitude Abyss and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
