In Sniper Elite: Resistance, Workbenches are essential to the ability to customize your arsenal, providing you with modifications and attachments to improve your weapons. These collectibles, although serving to customize your Rifle, Secondary Weapon, and Pistol, all give you different ways to enhance your loadout for various missions. This guide covers the location of all three Workbenches in Mission 3 (Sonderzüge Sabotage). We will cover where to find each Workbench – one for Rifles, one for Pistols, and one for SMGs – and the rewards they unlock. Remember, Workbenches do not appear on the map, so exploration and utilizing the Service Record are key to finding them.
All Workbench Locations/ Sonderzüge Sabotage in Mission 3
In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you will come across a variety of armaments to help you take down enemies. In addition to your default weapons, you can find new modifications and upgrades to enhance your arsenal. One key feature in this process is the Workbench, which serves as a collectible but also provides a way to improve your guns.
Interacting with Workbenches opens up new attachments for your Rifle, Secondary Weapon, and Pistol slots, offering you a great deal of customizability and power. You can use it to make the loadout work for the different combat situations or playstyle you want to pursue.
First Workbench Location (Rifle Workbench)
Across the river from the mission start point, you will find an area with a Kill List objective. In this area, there’s a building, and the Workbench is located on one of the side walls inside. After reaching the workbench, you will get a reward of Rifle Assault Kit.
Second Workbench Location (Pistol Workbench)
Head to the trainyard on the eastern side of the map and make your way to the undercover area. On the left, you will find a building with a gate that can be unlocked using Bolt Cutters. Once inside, head upstairs, and you will find the Workbench. After reaching the second workbench, you will get a reward of Pistol Capacity Crate.
Third Workbench Location (SMG Workbench)
In the Old Town area, south of the first Optional Objective and on the southern side of the river, you will come across a courtyard with a fountain in the center. Next to the fountain, there’s a locked gate that you can lockpick. Once you unlock it, the Workbench will be just on the other side. After reaching the third workbench, you will get a reward of Secondary Capacity Mods.
To keep track of which Workbenches you have discovered, check the Service Record menu in the pause screen. However, be aware that Workbenches won’t show up as markers on your map, so you will need to explore and find them on your own.
Tips
- Each Workbench has specific upgrades available for your Rifle, Secondary Weapon, and Pistol. Make use of these instances to customize your loadout according to your play preferences or the mission’s requirements. Consider improving your weapons for long distance sniping or close-combat tactics depending on your strategy.
- Just remember not to focus too much on the locations that have your Workbench, but keep a note of the amazing rewards that come with it. You will unlock the rifle assault kit and pistol capacity crate as well as the secondary capacity mods, all of which greatly improve your gun roster and give you more firepower and options to handle enemies.
- Since Workbenches are scattered throughout the map, it’s important to visit each location mentioned in the guide to ensure you’re not missing any upgrades. The rewards they offer will help improve your chances of success in future missions.
- With no markers guiding you to the Workbenches, take your time to explore each area and make sure you have gathered all the upgrades before moving on. Properly upgraded weapons can make a huge difference in how effectively you can handle the challenges ahead.
